This is a hybrid review on two separate delivery and items from Ashley. The first concerns the policy itself, buying from the store does not afford the customer a refund at all. I signed the paperwork in the store and didn't read the fine print. Why is it then that the Web store protocol affords refunds for defective merchandise ? All this being said: Purchase #1, 2 bar stools and a rocker recliner. Stools ok. The rocker recliner after two days began to clunk. From the rear you can see it is not level. I encountered my "no refunds", upon telling the store I wanted my money back for the defective recliner. I will have to acquiesce to their policy, we will fix it at no charge, but I have to jump through hoops to do so. I have pending "fix" appointment. #2 purchase: 1st off, The delivery team did not speak English, and communication was almost impossible. Their dress was NOT professional. Normal people would wear a belt to keep their pants from falling down in the back, exposing their underwear. Both of them were dressed this way. When they were bending over to do their work, my wife and I were treated to their red shorts, because of their jeans falling down. Number 2: Because of their obvious language limitations they barely spoke to us, and naturally they spoke among themselves in a language we do not understand. This is America. Workers should be versed in OUR native language. Number 3: I had to get down and show them that the orientation of the cabinet shelves was wrong and had to show physically. No speak english. The cabinet shelves have u-shaped notches on back, to match where wires can come up from the back of the punched out holes. They were just putting them in with those curved notches in the front. And you call this professional? Also forgot to put the center legs on, had to show them how to do it. Tonight upon closer inspection top has been scratched and fixed with a paint pen, which doesn't match. I have yet to speak to them about this. Despicable.Review from Quirine B

Spent almost $4000 on a living room set. After looking at the invoice I noticed a $199 protection plan I specifically asked not to get and $499 delivery fee after being told everything was included and clarified that there was no delivery charge. After correcting that issue, I was given the information on were to pick up my order. So I rent a truck to go pick it up. I call ahead the week before, the day before, AND the day of to confirm my order is ready to be picked up so there is no confusion. Get to the distribution center, nothing is ready to go and they don't have my information. After clearing that up I was told ***** minutes. After an hour and a half they Bring it out and make me load it onto the truck despite having the tools and a ramp for the truck. after building the furniture myself I find out they sent me with the wrong packages. They won't take them back because it's open box "ofcorse it is" and they want me to drive all the way to ******* to swap it out. Overall they seem to be all smiles when you hand them your credit card. But once they have your money they couldn't care less what happens. I was supposed to have my delivery today which was a queen size bed and dresser. I've wasted all day waiting for this delivery only to find out when I called that my card did not go through, and they weren't coming. I thought i paid in full online when I ordered it not realizing that my card actually gets charged after delivery. I am very upset cause i never got a call or anything letting me know what was going on. My card was lost 2 weeks ago and i had to get a new card from the bank and that's why it did not go through. If someone had picked up a phone and called or texted, then i could have given my new info and my son would have a bed to sleep in tonight. My card has been updated and now I know it will be charged the day of delivery, which is now Tues July 2. We got rid of my son's bed and dresser this morning thinking his furniture was coming today so now he has nothing till next Tuesday. This is the first-time ordering from Ashley's and it will be the last.Review from Alayna S

Never been so disappointed in a store in my life. i only gave it one star because it wouldn't give me the option for ZERO. This doesn't have to do with the specific store but Ashley Furniture as a whole. I have furnished 2 homes by Ashley, the most recent one being only last August. We received all of our furniture and the couch we got fell apart in 7 months. T he whole leg of the couch fell off of the cheaply made couch. Because I did not LIE to the warranty department that we paid $500 extra for and say it was less than 30 days since the incident happened they wouldn't repair it.. Ashley furniture said they would repair it since it was less than one year since we bought the couch, and that is in their contract we signed. after a month of going back and forth, They tried to fix it and said they couldn't, nor replace it, their insurance Regard couldn't fix it.. so now we are out of a couch and spent good money on a *** couch.i am not one to write a review but i am left with no other choice. i will never shop here again and don't bother with their insurance company that they recommend.Review from Ricki V

THE WORST DELIVERY EXPERIENCE EVER! They are using contractors that are not properly trained. The in-store experience was fine, however, we purchased living, dining and bedroom furniture mid-May and we are still having issues with a piece of furniture being delivered and assembled correctly. First issue, leather sofa was ripped, we refused it and they replaced it 2 weeks later. Night stand had an issue, we refused it, and they replaced a couple weeks later. Chest of drawers, we noticed after delivery that a leg was crooked. They sent a tech out to make the repairs - tech was not able to fix due to heavy damage. So they replaced the chest. This too was damaged. Tech came out again, still unable to fix. We are currently waiting for the THIRD chest as of 6/25/24! We have been held up in our house every Saturday for the past 6 weeks waiting for deliveries and technicians. THIS IS BEYOND RIDICULOUS! We spent tens of thousands of dollars on this furniture and all they offered for compensation is $217!!! Not to mention, I purchased a recliner for my father and they attempted 2x to deliver to my house instead of the delivery address I gave them at the time of purchase.I WILL NEVER SHOP AT ASHLEY AGAIN!Review from Marvin D

WARNING!!!! THIS COMPANY HAVE EMPLOYEES AND MANAGAEMENT THAT ACT LIKE ***** ***** FROM THE TIME YOU WALK THROUGH THE DOORS. WHEN YOU TELL THEM YOU DO NOT NEED HELP AND WILL ONLY BE WINDOW SHOPPING THEY CONTINUE TO HARRASS YOU AND SIMPLY DO NOT RESPECT "NO I DO NOT NEED HELP AT THIS TIME!" SOMEONE NEED TO INVESTIGATE THIS COMPANY TO ENSURE THEY ARE NOT HARRASSING PEOPLE! I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN AND WILL ADVISE EVERYONE I KNOW NOT TO IF THEY DO NOT WANT TO BE HARRASSED.
