HE SUGGESTED THAT I SELL IT TO A FRIEND! or TRY AND SELL IT TO ***********!. Seriously! I was very excited (boy did that change fast) to learn about the ** A/C silencer during the last ***** ** show. I explained to ***********************, that when I took it to have it installed that it would not work in my unit and I would like to return it, as I was informed that I could by his wife at the show. When I contact *******, he did inform me that I could return it - for a 20% fee and pay for shipping - which was not was I was told by his wife. Let alone that is not what is posted on his website. After several emails back and forth with ******* - HE SUGGESTED THAT I SELL IT TO A FRIEND! or TRY AND SELL IT TO ***********!. Seriously! (that bears repeating). I get it that his wife may or may not know about the product. But, to suggest that I "try and sell it to a friend" and then come up with an arbitrary (made up) fee that is not posted on his website - is just plain bad business. Let alone, just bad customer service.Business response

Sorry to hear that you have a non ducted unit. As stated on the website and talked about at the ***** Show, the Silencer kits will only work on Ducted units with a wall thermostat. You can return the in like new condition kit. There will be a 20% restock fee and you are responsible for the return shipping. Please write on the box RMA 1811-3432 and return within 10 days of this email. Also just a thought you could sell it to a friend, this would save you the shipping cost and restocking fee.WackO Products

The First email received asking to return was on Feb 21,2022. The purchase was on Jan 20,2022. That is past the 10 day window.

There are no defects or issues with the product he purchased. Unfortunately he purchased a product that he had no idea that would fit his RV.
