Clients of JM Landscaping, LLC, ****** and ********************************* received a quote from JM Landscaping, LLC dated 4/29/2020. The estimates on the quote were as follows:Installation of Soil, Seed, And Straw to Ditch Area: $1, 980.92.Remove Existing Dirt in Backyard and Re-SeedInstallation of Berm in the Backyard: $3,500Total Cost of Project: $7,859.18 On May 28th, 2020 clients ****** and ********************************* paid the down payment of $1,743.67 (Check #****).On August 12th, 2020 clients ****** and ********************************* paid the remaining balance of $6,115.51. Owner, *************************, informed the client he would return to the home within a week to finish project, which was to sod the ditch as the seed installed by JM Landscaping LLC did not fix the drainage problem, as this project was to resolve this issue. Numerous communications were made to JM Landscaping, with no response.On October 22nd, 2021 ***** met the clients at their home (after using a different number to contact him) and informed them the project would be completed the week of October 25th. The project was not complete and ***** did not provide any further follow up and/or communications.On November 11th, 2021 clients were informed check would be issued on Tuesday, November 16th. This communication was in writing. There has been no check received by the clients.The project was not completed in 2020, and remains incomplete as of 11/23/2021. Per the Landscaping Agreement provided by JM Landscaping, LLC, should the Landscaper fail to comply with the requirements of the agreement to a substantial degree, the client may notify Landscaper in writing that Landscaper is in default of its contractual obligations and instruct the Landscaper to correct the default within five (5) business days. Clients filed the "Landscaping Agreement" violation on December 2nd, 2021 and received no response to this submission of a failure to complete Installation of Soil, Seed, And Straw To Ditch Area.Business response

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Blake has not responded to numerous attempts to contact him via text, voicemail, and email since November, 23rd 2021. The text message response from him indicated I would be receiving $2,000 check. I have attempted 7 times from November 23rd, 2021 to present and left voicemails on both of his contacts (office number and cell phone). Additionally, I never received a response to filing the Landscaping Agreement. I do not consider this "in the process to be resolved" when there has been no communication from him regarding resolution of this matter. Due to his lack of responsiveness and resolution on this matter, we no longer want the completion of our project and are only interested in reimbursement for services not rendered.
