We have used this dealership for years without any problems. On Monday, 18 February I took our car to this dealership for a simple oil change. I was a little concerned that it took an hour and a half but really didnt pay much attention to that. I hopped in the car after the oil change drove it to a store on the way home, when I came out of the store, I saw the damage on the passenger side rocker panel below the front door. I am very particular with our cars and I know every scratch on them so I knew this happened during the oil change. I called the dealership when I got home and initially left a message. I tried again a couple minutes later and the service manager answered he said bring it on down. Well see what we can do upon arrival back to the dealership the service manager put the car on the lift and asked me if I had the paperwork because the mechanic is really meticulous about marking where previously damage was done on the car , I found this very odd and Ive never seen it on any of the old paperwork Ive had with this car. I told the service manager that I know for certain it happened at the dealership and he said it was previously damaged. This is the only person that *** talked to from the dealership after reaching out to the owner several times , when you look at the pictures, you can see where the arm of the lift wasnt properly placed underneath the car and caused this damage. I think after the damage had been done, the mechanic then wrote on the repair bill that the car was previously damaged. He also marked the driver side, same area with the same damage. However, there is no damage on the driver side. I dont think this is necessarily a bad dealership, quite contrary, weve used them for long, long time with no problems. We do have a problem with the service manager, being judge and jury, and not being able to talk to anybody or even have the courtesy of a callback from upper management thank you very much.
