I used SB photography to photograph my wedding June 25 2022. We signed a contract for a package that included 10hours of coverage, two photographers, a wedding album, two canvas prints, and a flash drive with all of our pictures on it. We were given access to view the pictures online 09/26/2022. I was incredibly disappointed in the photos themselves. They were not professional looking at all. Uncentered, awkward poses, just unprofessional. I reached out to the owner ****, I was shocked when he offered a refund, I told him a full refund didnt seem fair and maybe we could meet in the middle after all they did come out and spend 10 hours with us. Since then, we have gotten barely any responses. I gave up on the refund and have just tried to get what we paid for. We have not received the album, canvas prints, or the flash drive with our wedding photos. We paid $4,093 and signed a contract with this company. They have ended all communication with us, and it appears this is happening to other couples as well. They are blaming everything on COVID, when in reality they need to take accountability for their business and uphold the contracts they createdInitial Complaint

I got married July 8, 2023. It seemed excellent at first. When I first contacted SB off of WeddingWire on 9/12/22 ****** immediately called. I proceeded SB to be my wedding photography. We had our free photography engagement session & the problems first started here. It was getting close to the session and I hadn't heard anything. I reached out a day before the engagement session questioning final details. I emailed asking when to expect engagement photos. No reply. But an email with all photos attached on 10/11/22. Our next issue was right before our wedding. Since SB didnt contact me yet I sent an email checking in. Then the wedding happened and we waited for teaser photos. On 7/21/23, got a super long email blaming COVID and other excuses. On 9/6/2 got our teaser photos. Next, I sent a email on 9/29/23 checking in when to get the full wedding album of online photos. I went to the address online in ******** in September and did not find SB at this location. SB sent emails that COVID is why things are late. Reached out on 12/6/23. There was no response until I left a voicemail stating just how upset I was about the whole situation. The email on 12/8/23 said that I would get my items arriving within 4-6 days. Called & I told all my frustrations and he told me in the phone call, it "was entirely our fault and we screwed up. We will refund you in full." On the 12/14 email, it also said that the refund would be processed via check and would be mailed out. The check should have been sent out ASAP due to that but it was not. On 12/29/23 I sent another email checking in. I told them that I did receive one item, but was still missing some other items. I left a voicemail and did not hear back. On 1/4/24 I emailed again. They are not upholding contract and written promises. I got a very rude email after this. I finally got some items on 1/9/2024. However, I am still missing 3 canvases and the refund. Still am being ignored via phone call and email. Still waiting.Initial Complaint

We contracted SB *********************************************** to shoot our wedding on 9/8/23. Two photographers came out and shot the wedding, but we have not received any communication regarding our wedding album. We have called dozens of times, sent emails, text messages, etc. No response. The company even deleted their ****** page and has been moving around their address. We want some form of update from the company, our pictures, and a partial refund. The company has not responded to our numerous attempts to get into contact. This is unacceptable behavior and breaks the contract we entered with the company. Unfortunately, we aren't the only people this is happening to. Got married 09/22/23. **** and **** were AMAZING photographers. They helped the groomsmen with their boutonnires and their pocket squares something I never would have expected them to do. They hit all the photos that we requested and then some. We would work with them again if they werent working with sb photography anymore. I reached out to sb for an update on when we would receive photos. I reached out via email TWICE, my husband reached out via email once, we reached out to **** on Instagram, reached out to sb via their contact form on their website. Absolutely no response. The only person that I got any sort of response from was Will but since he had no control over the editing process he didnt have an answer of when we would receive the photos. If this company would respond at all I think people would be a little more understanding. But the fact that they ignore every method of communication. I wouldnt recommend them to anyone. I think the photographers should all freelance and drop ties with SB because its only going to give them a bad name.I was originally hopefully I would get them by Christmas so I could give my parents a late gift. Then I was hopeful we would get them by Valentines Day and we could look at them as a special moment together. Now Id be surprised if we get them by our 1 year anniversary. (We were given an estimated time frame of ***** weeks)They should find a way to make it right with their clients. And if they cant they should stop booking new clients because they are clearly taking on more than they can handle.I never would have thought the most stressful part of my wedding planning would be wondering if Ill ever get the photos back.Initial Complaint

My wedding was June 2023 and I paid $3275.00 for 9 hours of coverage, 2 photographers, engagement photo session, full edited and retouched photos, and a flash drive of all the photos. After multiple, emails, phone calls, and texts I did not receive my sneak peak photos of my wedding until 2 months after my wedding. More calls, texts and emails were sent with no response until I finally emailed from a different email account only to be sent spam emails about how covid (this is 2023 - 3 years after covid) has made it hard for them to complete their work. Then why accept my business in the first place? Still no photos. More attempts were made to get ahold of anyone, no replies. At the 5 month **** I finally got the link to view my photos online. Nothing was retouched as we had paid for and all of my makeup/getting ready photos were not included. I only received 2 photos of my whole wedding party. Now 8 months later, still no communication from anyone and still no flash drive was sent. Extremely disappointed in the lack of communication and professionalism of this company. My husband and I used SB Photography for our wedding on September, 16th, 2023. We paid $2,975.00 up front in September of 2021 for two photographers to capture our day. Since the wedding, we have received no contact from our photographers, ****** and ****. We called the number, left voicemails, and sent many emails and never received any communication back from the company. The only contact we ever received was through ******** messenger. My sister in law knew a photographer named, ****, who works for SB. She ******** messaged him, and he responded, and sent us about 50 wedding photos the following week. **** also stated, via email We would have to wait ***** weeks from our wedding date for our full wedding gallery. The 16 weeks would have been on Saturday, January 7th. We received no photos or communication from anyone at SB regarding the status of our photos. I have sent emails and havent received anything in return. I understand being busy and overwhelmed with clients, but I do not understand lack of communication and ignoring a customer. For the price we paid, the least we deserve is communication.Initial Complaint

I paid upfront for my wedding photographs in the amount of $2775. In the weeks leading up to my wedding I never heard from them. The day of my wedding I didn't hear from anyone. When I called the owner ****** she said two new people will be coming as the initial photographer couldn't make it. When they arrived instead of having two fully trained photographers, we had one and someone who seemed to be very new and still learning. After taking pictures of us girls they were supposed to head to the guys to take pictures. They didn't call my husband and didn't get any pictures of my husband getting ready. I asked that he attach a sentimental ring that my Grandma made my mom for her wedding to my bouquet of flowers. He took the ring off of the string and didn't attach it to my flowers and completely lost the ring. He also took our wedding rings out of the box and didn't put them back so we didn't have the rings for the ceremony. It has now been 4 months and I haven't gotten my pictures back. When I reached out to the owner of the company she went on a rant for 5 minutes straight about how her business is bankrupt, and she "had to refund over a half of a million dollars". She continued on with stating she has had to take money out of her 401k and is losing her house, and how her business and life has fell apart. She went on to say that she would not be able to give me a refund because she is bankrupt and there is no money to give back. To this day I do not have my photos, nor a refund. I am afraid that they are still scamming new costumers.
