    I bought a used 2014 Nissan Altima from them. I had a great experience buying the car and driving it up until last week Wednesday when I got my first oil change done (had it since 6/17/21). Shortly a few hours after I got my oil changed, I started randomly having transmission issues. I drove it home, let it sit and was hoping it would be better when I drove to work and home the next day, nowhere else. Well that wasn’t true at all or the case. My car died on the way to work and transmission is slipping. I’ve had a car before that had awful transmission issues and slipping, so I knew exactly what it was. I was extremely excited about owning another Nissan Altima (previously I had a 2011 in 2014 and I loved it no issues ever or anything). And was hoping this would be the same kind of case other than normal things that need to be done on a used car. I was never offered a warranty and didn’t think about it, since my car I was driving at the time had 230,000 miles on it and was dying. Bought the car June 17th of this year, got the oil changed on the car august 17th of this year as well (first oil change), and then a few hours later my transmission started getting really bad out of nowhere. The next day I drove it to work and home and that’s it, transmission started giving me bad issues. It was not safe. It died at a red light on my way home with my almost 2 year old son. The car was barely chugging home. I called the dealership that Thursday when I got home and no answer. Called several times no answer. Finally got ahold of a lady who answered the phone and said the man who sold me my car was out of the office. I gave her my name and number and asked if somebody, anybody who could help please give me a call back ASAP. Didn’t hear anything. Finally called back Friday last week and the service manager said he would love to help me but I’d need approval to get it looked at for free (they’re a Ford dealership and I understand sometimes other dealers have issues or don’t have the right parts to look at other cars especially foreign ones). I did not want to pay to have my car towed from Madison to belleville, have them charge me to look at it, tell me they can’t fix it and pay to tow it to Nissan in Madison, have Madison charge to look at it, then charge to fix it as well. I’m a single mother with no child support help for the record, obviously don’t have unlimited funds is my point here. No sob story. The finance manager said he’d do what he could to help and call me back within a half an hour. It’s now Wednesday and I STILL haven’t had a call back. I called Monday and yesterday as well. This is ridiculous. I didn’t buy a car and sign a 5 year loan to end up with a lemon that doesn’t work. ?? Just wanted to let others know. It’s very disappointing, especially when there’s 5 star reviews and I had such a great time buying and driving the car in the mean time. Not even 75,000 miles on the car. What a shame.
