Reece quoted me the cheapest of 4 different quotes. I was hesitant at first for the price being so low, however you could tell the confidence and communication was huge with him. I picked him not only for the price but just meeting him knew that it was a good fit. He came out in the timeframe he gave, completed the work. Me and my wife will definitely call him back for future work.

Tyler is fine for cleaning gutters, but we paid him in full for a job and he did not complete it. He cut a hole in our celling and did not box in the joists above the ceiling opening. We contacted him several times to complete the job and he finally replied. He set up a day to return but did not show up and has not contacted us. We are considering taking him to court. We had to hire someone else to complete the job.

Hey *****,In regards to your job. You requested a fan to be placed into your bathroom. We added another access way to your attic to be added. I requested you to purchase 2x4s to finish the work as you only picked up the fan and board to cover the hole. I was made aware from yourself and your husband that you would finish the work as you were happy that it was finished and moving forward would cost a little bit more in labor and time. As you did not pick up the extra material, and unfortunately did not communicate with me to come back, rather had your husband expect that I should pay out of pocket after we had agreed that the work was fine and you would finish the trim and boards.I am still willing to help you finish the work, however it cannot be free, myself and my electrician were there to prompt you through everything needed to finish. I even offered to do it for free. However after the unreasonable requests, the foul language and lowering on my business page that was sent, and unreasonable requests made, these claims are absolutely false. I have a positive review from you after this entire job was completed as well as a thank you message. I am still willing to finish framing out the square that was cut out that your husband said he would finish, unfortunately coming back with a negative review afterwards doesn't help fix anything.I appreciate the work you had us do, and I have a completed in full paid receipt as well as a review after. If your husband didn't want to do the work after the fact, it would have been better to do that, rather than leave a fake false review on our page.Warm Regards,*********************

Here is the attached invoice link from October 14th.********************** This shows in the notation which you have received a copy of, that the $50 charge was just to cut out the hole. Has you provided the 2x4s being a return customer I would have had no issue finishing the work. I appreciate the kind review on the gutter clean out, I also recall I installed a bathroom sliding door for you also. I made sure to charge you 50% less than anyone else and still kept in contact. However after a month of no contact, and then a false review after with no contact, while I reached out to you via ******** messenger to complete the work, we don't deal with terroristic threats to do free labor.I definitely understand should you feel the need to civilly bring this further as I have all pictures, messages, reviews previously from you to show I have completed the work that was requested. We do everything in writing to prevent people from taking advantage of us and our reputation.I hope you have a good year, and look forward to hearing from you should you should you choose to change this false review. Following up for other potential customers also as to have clarity, our company does not get paid or request for payment until the job is fully completed. The only time any partial payment is made would be for a portion to cover material upfront in which would be stated clearly in the invoice or contract. This customer paid in full after the service was completed, even gave us a tip for the service, and then later down the road once was made aware that a follow up visit wasn't going to be free changed their opinion. We are a business and not a charity and unfortunately some people take advantage of the kindness of others. We are aware this will happen in this line of business over time, and keep records to show proof from our end, to ensure that we are protecting our image and name.As always, even after the nasty messages from this customers husband, and false claims through ********* I am still willing to frame that in for your husband *****, however again as stated previously we will be charging for the service as we cannot just jump to do extra work that was not on the original bid. I hope this helps clarify everything for you as maybe you were not completely aware of the situation as this was done between yourself and your husband!You have my contact information and I am always here to chat if you need to adjust and make something right if it was not done to your expectations for what we agreed and performed based on our invoice/contracted agreement.

As a new home owner it's all a learning process...Reece came in and helped me to understand exactly what the problem was and was able to articulate in layman's terms what was needed to fix it. Aside from that it felt like fair pricing after calling others about the same problems. All in all it was a satisfying experience that left me feeling like I made the right choice and will be choosing Reece's handyman service in the future.
