Peterson Sanitation, Inc. is suppose to pick up our trash weekly, but for the last month and a half they have not. I have called 3 times now to ask why trash wasnt picked up, only to be told someone would call me back. Of course no one calls me back. I pay for this trash to be picked up every week. When they dont pick up, I have to store my stinky garbage for 2 weeks. I feel they owe me 3 weeks credit.Business response

I personally spoke to the customer because I placed a ticket up for the driver to make sure her garbage and any extra was picked up. As to why can be several factors, such as driver error, a different driver, or the garbage not being out. I do not know who she spoke to in billing because that is something I do not handle. I contacted our billing department, and they did a credit for $30.00.Customer response

peterson sanitaition bought out previous company ***** trucking our acct was pd 7-7-2021 to 1-1-22. I rec'd new 11-1-21 for $126 i pd it 11-6-21. then we rec'd another **** for $126 because they said they changed us from a **** behind to a **** ahead which was which was wrong. then they billed us $54 for a price increase effective back to 12-1-21. Is it legal to raise their rates after I paid my account? I have called them numerous times. I think I should be paid in full to 7-1-22 and now they are adding interest to the $54 charge and threatening to stop our garbage collectionBusiness response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[Please type your response here.]My complaint is AFTER I paid for 6 months, you billed an add'l $54 (and Interest) due to a change in rates. I do not believe it is legal to change your rates after I Paid for 6 months of garbage pickup.

You received a letter stating that your rates would change as of the first of the year. Due to the changing of ownership on 9/1/2021, there were some accounts that did have updating issues when accounts were transferred. Your rates were not changed after you paid. They were changed as of the first of 2022 per the letter that was sent out. This has been discussed by you and our billing department. They told you that the invoice you received in November was an error due to the transfer of accounts and that you did not have to pay it, but you paid it anyways. In January you would have received the official and correct invoice. Please contact our billing department if you have further questions. Again, the rates were changed as of 1/1/2022 per the letter you received. Your rates stayed the same through 2021.
