My roof was damaged due to hail in May of last year. It took 4 months to get a new roof, simply because of bad communication. During the installation process, I was told when the company would be coming, which was a no-show, then late the next day, after essentially getting to the point of firing the company and re-starting, the roof was installed and was a great job.Now I am selling the house and the new buyers want to transfer the warranty to them. I have been given different amounts of the cost of this, my contract says something different as to how long the warranty lasts, and I cannot get through to anyone to send a form over to me to get this transferred.Once again, awful communication. You will not be a priority to them, I can assure you. I have called in multiple times now and left messages for them to call me back (still havent, because they use a remote phone service). My contact about the transfer of warranty started on Feb 8 and I am still waiting 19 days later. This is not hard to do. I have even been talking to the salesman directly with no help either.All I am seeking is to have communication with the business so I can get a warranty form. I dont even need work done under the said warranty. Just to transfer it to the new people.Business response

In August 2022, *********************, field supervisor for Buck Shot Exteriors, General Contractor told me that there was damage to my roof from an April hailstorm. He told me that I needed to have ******************** inspect the roof and then text him what they told me. He was upset that State Farm had said they could not find roof damage. He said that he would come back to take pictures of the roof and document the damage and send it to State Farm. In October 2022, I emailed State Farm and they responded that they had not received any documentation from Buck Shot Exteriors regarding my claim 4936X311V. I texted ****, left a message on his company's website, called the company's phone number ************, and left a message with an answering service person. To date, I have not received any information, emails, or calls.Business response

I will begin by stating ***** is technically not a customer of this company. He is working with our representative to get his hail damage property approved. Without approval there would be no work to complete. I will take over the handling of this claim moving forward to attempt to resolve this matter and rebuild the customer relationship.
I have resent all the pictures to Statefarm. I CCd the insured on all the emails. Our system says they were delivered to Statefarm as well as to *********** It took ***** emails to send all the pics as the file sizes were very large. This should be enough to prompt a reinspect from the carrier as the damage is quite easy to see.
