This company installed a gas valve in our furnace on 9/11/2020 based on a recommendation from Cameron Heating and Cooling Company. In August 2021 our air conditioner would not turn on so we called our usual company, Cameron Heating and Cooling. They came out twice as they thought the problem was some type of board and on the second visit they realized the gas valve was the problem so we were told to contact Northwest WI Refrigeration Services, LLC as the gas valve was under warranty for a year, which we did. When the repairman from Northwest WI Refrigeration Services, LLC installed a new gas valve on 9/24/2021 he also stated the gas valve he removed was under warranty. When I received the bill for the installation of the gas valve on 09/24/2021, it included the price of the new gas valve. When I contacted the company to say that the gas valve broke before the expiration of the warranty and should be covered, I was told by Ben that since we had contacted Cameron Heating and Cooling first, he would not honor the warranty as he had no idea if someone from Cameron Heating and Cooling could have damaged the valve. Ben also stated that in their pamphlet, which we were never given in the initial installation on 9/11/2020 of the gas valve, it states the warranty would not be honored if someone from another company worked on our furnance before the expiration of the warranty. Ben also stated he would adjust the bill and send a new bill with a pamphlet outlining their warranty. When I received another bill on 11/5/2021, there was no pamphlet and no adjustment to the original bill.
