On Dec 2, 2021, I took my handicap dodge caravan to Miller motors to diagnose a huge safety issue and get a recall taken care of. They diagnosed my van needing a new abs module, stating it would fix the issue it had losing steering, traction light going on and losing acceleration. It is imperative I have a safe vehicle for my wheelchair bound son. I paid $170 for wiring they said was being pinched when part of the recall was wiring with ignition and the air bag, which the charge surprised me as I wasn't given a quite till I had to pay, or I would have said no to that. On Dec. 27, 2021 they installed the abs module and programmed it. Immediately upon leaving the lot, the van had the issue recur where I lost power steering and acceleration with the light on. I let them know and scheduled fir it to be looked at again, as clearly they missed the **** ...total for the part I had to purchase, which was 280 and the labor which was ******. Had they kept my old module I would have had them reinstall it to return the part, and gain some resolution but they did not, and they were aware of the issue not being resolved immediately. They proceeded to only perform diagnostic for a half hour and then tried to charge me for that as well, which I complained so they did not, however, they clearly were not diligent about completing the correct repair, and I feel taken advantage of. I would like a refund of the labor and part of the part, because it was unnecessary to repair the issue I took it there for, regardless of what they claim they tested, it did nothing to repair the huge safety issue and I'm now stuck with my savings gone and an unsafe wheelchair van which is now my only vehicle. I also let them know again that this diagnostic was not diligent and I was unsatisfied. I revised my review on the business page to reflect that and wasn't offered any compensation. I bought a truck on 6/7/21 and have been dealing with this since. They have had the truck more than I have. They where paid about 5k in bodywork and when i went to pick it up i saw flaws in it. I had to argue to get them to take it back to fix. 2 weeks later go back to get cause it was done. They fix maybe half and said they couldn't do anything with the rest of what they did. I took it to a couple of body shops after that. Both shops said it was a very bad job and probably wouldn't last 1 yr. It was gonna cost a lot more to fix now then to start with. I would like to see some money back, if not all. Because it's gonna cost more to have fixed now. Hopefully at the least to make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else again. I work hard for my money and don't really have any to throw away. I find it hard to believe that I'm the only that is filing complaints against them. I have tried to work it out with them until they said they couldn't make it look any better than it was. I have never heard from any managers or the owner, which i have called and left messages and e-mails to. Mainly have been dealing with the sales guy and the head body guy. I have wasted a lot of time and money on this, besides the loss of work. It will probably cost more for a lawyer than it's worth. That's probably why they can get away with this kind of work. I just want what a paid for, which i thought was gonna be a good job. Would like a refund of some kind. In full would be ideal, but anything to help to get the job done right.Customer response
