I ordered five pairs of egg bar horse shoes (horse shoes that are an "egg" or oval shape instead of the traditional horse shoe shape) that were pictured as one continuous piece of steel. Instead I was shipped one pair of regular horse shoes poorly welded together to form a similar shape, which is not what I wanted, and I don't feel would be safe to put on my horse. I contacted the company via email and was told that I could return them and be refunded the item amount, but would have to pay for shipping both ways. I told them that the website seemed intentionally misleading and requested a full refund and they stopped replying to my emails but have since updated their website. I would be happy to return the shoes they shipped me in exchange for a full refund ($35.15) and a prepaid shipping label to return the shoes. I should not lose money because of false advertising.Business response

Before the letter from the BBB arrived here on 07/14/2023, I sent an e-mail to *************************** with a return label attached for her to return the items letting her know that we would issue a full refund when we receive the products .
Attached is a copy of the e-mail tread as well as a copy of the shipping label .
Once the shoes arrive back here, a full refund will be issued.
I am sorry that *************************** contacted you before giving us time to get this resolved.

Earlier this week, I filed a complaint against Centaur Forge. Unfortunately I can't find any specific numbers for the complaint to provide you with to look it up so hopefully you can find it by my name and the business name.I just wanted to let you know that the business did reach out and send a prepaid shipping label to send the item back to them. I was able to get it to the post office today to mail back to them. They say they will issue a full refund once they recieve it. It looks like this will be resolved but I will reach out again to let you know for sure once they actually refund the money.Thank you!***************************
