      I have a written agreement in place with Bobcat Plus for them to purchase a used Bobcat skid steer machine from me, but they refuse to honor it. Below is a summary of text correspondence with Bobcat Plus representatives:8/26/22 - I contacted ********************* at Bobcat Plus to tell him that I had a Bobcat that I was interested in selling, he got back to me right away asking for photos and more information.9/4/22 - ***** said that he was sending someone (Bud) to take a look at it in the next week. *** inspected the skid steer said that he would report back to ***** who would then provide a price.9/16/22 - ***** offered $22,700 for the machine with forks 10/5/22 - I asked if he could do a bit better on the price 10/6/22 - He said that was as high as he could go and I accepted. ***** said he would initiate a check request and *** would pick it up in a few days and deliver payment.10/12/22 - ***** said that they weren't going to buy it due to "market volatility," I responded that we had an agreement and I expected him to honor it After this, ***** stopped responding to texts, would not answer or return phone messages. I contacted another sales person, *****, at Bobcat Plus to try to discuss with *****'s manager, neither he nor ***** has contacted me. I am extremely disappointed in how Bobcat Plus has conducted business. They are unwilling to follow through on a binding business agreement and refuse to discuss or resolve this issue.

      Please find our response below to the complaint we received on 11/17/2022.
      We regret this person has been upset by what has transpired. Our intent is to satisfy people with our service and
      commitments. Unfortunately, we had a rapid decline in used equipment values this fall as interest rates increased
      rapidly and liquidity tightened. The fact is we did not have a signed agreement. Each year we have dozens of people
      tentatively agree to purchase equipment from us by signing a quote or other agreement. We choose to respect an
      individuals or companys right to change their mind when their financial or the macro-economic situation changes. In
      a vast majority of situations, a potential purchaser has signed a quote or other document indicating their intent. We
      allow the potential buyer to change their mind. We do not have them sign a legal purchase document until they take
      ownership of the equipment. Also, when this individual called an employees cell phone at 10:38 on a Friday night the
      decision was made stop communication with her. A simple form of respect was not observed in this case. The
      behavior was frankly unnerving and unfortunately caused a reinforcement of the position to not complete the
      transaction.
      Please respond with your confirmed receipt of this letter. Also, the letter you sent me did not specifically state my name
      would not be shown online. I request confirmation that my name will be redacted from the complaint the customer
      submitted when you post it online just as it was requested of me to not include her name in my response. You can send

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

      Your reply is unfounded - you had stopped communicating long before that, and that call was clearly accidental.


      The only lack of respect in this situation was demonstrated by Bobcat Plus' failure to respond to my several cordial messages requesting to discuss the matter.  


      A verbal/text agreement constitutes a binding agreement. Bobcat Plus is clearly a business with leadership that does not honor their word.
