            This company is not a charity. According to its website, the Police Officer Defense Alliance is a Non-Partisan, federally registered Political Action Committee. Police Officer Defense Alliance is also known as POD Alliance and PODA.

            BBB has received numerous reports from consumers who have received frequent, unwanted phone calls and requests for money from this organization, despite requesting verbally to be removed from its call lists.

            Unfortunately, PODA has not responded to the Better Business Bureau's requests for general information about itself, nor has it responded to any of the complaints forwarded to it by our office.

            Consumers should make sure that they are registered with the National Do Not Call List. To either register your phone number with the Do Not Call List or to report a Do Not Call List violation, please go to: www.donotcall.gov.

            constant, repeat phone calls with different local caller ID's ...asked the callers to stop calling, i registered on the NO CALL lists..yet they continue to harass this phone number. Political action committee with no intention of supporting the actual members of the police families that they tout that they are helping.... they are helping themselves to support political candidates whom THEY THINK will help policing.....and do not care how they spend the donations....let alone care about the families of officers..

            Company continues to call despite stating I want to be removed. They continue to call from different phone numbers. They are not a charity and will not stop calling.
