My car stopped working. I walked an hour and a half to be told that my car only needed gas, and I was charged 191 dollars for 3 gallons of gas.Business response

customers car was TOWED in by him to us No Appointment and we were 3-4 days out already! said car quit while driving at 35 mph under light accel.
told customer that we would try in get car in asap ...as we were told it is his only car!
the next day we pushed his car in our shop (not starting) and started Diagnostics! (our min. diagt. scan and inspect is 1 hour ($150 per hour )
we hooked up scanner for code and data retrieval .......system was clean no stored or pending codes . so we then had to do manual pin point testing (requires 2 people one testing one try to start car ) found car had sparks and ignition pulse , went on to fuel testing ....car had very low pressure ***** # requires 70+ to run , did a quick volume flow and found fuel trickling out , scan tool showed 10% fuel in tank .....and fuel gauge was very low slightly above mt , as that matched our scan info ....so we added fuel to tank 3 gals, and both scan tool and gauge moved up accordingly , tried to start car and it fired UP! .....so car was out of gas , gauge showed slightly above m.t. but as this is a older car 2006 we will assume it runs out of gas just b4 M.T.
well this is not our car and we do not know where it runs out of gas the ***** should !
moral of story is we had over 1.5 hours ++ in man time and charged him accordingly (our Minimum!) and lost money on this job in man hours because of his own stupidity or ignorance either which is not our Problem we are a business as you know ........as far as him walking an hour + to pick his car up that has nothing to do with us ........when he arrived to pick up his car he was soaking wet as it was raining and sorry but he never asked for a ride or anything (there is this thing called UBER also ) and he was told hey if you would have said something we would of came and got you ! his response was yeah its fine ......
this is just Ridiculous .........that I even have to waste more time on this !!!!
he never once complained on the phone or in person about the ***** ....
FYI this is the same person that we had helped out with some used tires when his blew out in February and gave him a deal less than what we normally get because he was in a bind then and didn't have enough $ for the tires!
why is it that every time you do favors in bites you in the butt!
he also came into us from a neighbors high recommendation !!
