On June 15th I contacted Clintonville Motors *** in reference to a used **** f150 they had listed for sale on Auto trader. I told the salesman ********************* that I was an out of state buyer and I couldnt physically come to the dealership to inspect the car so I needed him to be very detailed with the condition of the vehicle. I asked did the vehicle have excessive rust on the underside and he stated it was very minimal and not excessive. I asked him to send me pictures of the underside, and he said that he would but they were never sent. He assured me that the vehicle was in very good condition. The salesman seemed very nice, transparent, and honest over the phone which put me at ease with purchasing a vehicle sight unseen. I decided to purchase the vehicle and it was picked up by a shipping company on June 23rd and it was delivered to my home in Georgia on June 25th. When I inspected the vehicle I discovered and excessive amount of rust on the underside of the vehicle and flaking and bubbling paint on the bottom of both doors. The drivers side floor pan was actually rusted though. I then contacted the the president of the dealership ******************* on June 26th via email to express my displeasure in the condition of the vehicle. I advised him that the condition of the vehicle was misrepresented by the salesman, and if I had received an accurate description of the vehicle that I never would have purchased it. I asked would he take the vehicle back because of the misleading information that I received from the salesman and he stated no he wouldnt. He told me that I should have taken a four hour flight to look at the vehicle instead of taking the word of his salesman. I expressed to him that I was unable to fly to ********* to look at the vehicle in person, but he didnt care he still refused to take the vehicle back.
