Duffy Fleet Services sold us an air bag for our semi trailer that was defective. The product should have been tested before it was sold. When ********************************* put the air bag on the semi trailer, it leaked air. They informed us and when we took the air bag back, they refused the refund and said we damaged it. The part did get damaged because when it was put on the trailer and the air leaked out, then the trailer collapsed on it. It should have held the air and the trailer up. My name is ******************* the owner of Duffy Fleet Services. I was unable to open the complaint file to read it but Im sure this can be solved with my pictures of the part that was returned.
Picture one is how the air spring was purchased, picture two is the condition I received it back. His claim was that it leaked, when they put it in the first time. Whoever installed that air spring did
a horrible job of installing it, mind you it wasnt my shop. We never got the chance to install it properly. The gentleman that returned it wanted his money back as a warranty on this part. There is no
way I can turn this in to my supplier claiming it leaked. I cant read the complaint but Im sure it doesnt explain the names he called me and the insults to my business I had to endure, and the fact that
he peeled out of my property in an unsafe manner leaving my employees and customers at risk all while flipping me off through my office window. I probable have proof through my surveillance system
of this action. Let me know what the next step is as in 12 years of business Ive never had this experience.
