      I ordered a custom built cart for my donkey one year ago. I have called several times to inquire about the status of my order and never get a return call. I understand that the owner of the company had cancer and that he may have passed away. However, no body can tell me what will happen to my deposit or if I will actually be shipped my cart.

      I ordered a set of Marathon shafts for a horse sized **** Sprint Carriage from the Frey Carriage Company on June 2nd. I waited to hear from them. I read on ******** that the owner had died (August) so waited a bit to hear from them. A person from the company called and said they would be shipping them out. They did not. This is an American company using standard American sizes of metal tubing. I won't be able to buy marathon shafts (this is part of what attaches the horse to a cart of carriage) from a European company as they will have standard metric sizes of tubing.

      Ordered a custom carriage for my horse. Contacted **** online and telephone to place order. Never in all of the calls was it mentioned anyone was sick (dying). My cart was due to be done in October - when I callled to see the status and make shipping arrangements - the phones were full. I tried emailing - no response. Started to get worried and have since learned an owner died - and that there are hundreds of thousands of dollars that are missing - and order that are over 2 years old and not started but the money is gone. I would either like the cart that I ordered or a full refund.

      I paid up front for a Rebel carriage plus the shipping cost!*** said it would take 2 months that he had three in production .When I talked again to him he said I should have it the first of September.The carriage was never delivered!

      September 20, 2023 Frey Carriage Company, LLC *********************, owner N5109 US-151 ********, ** ******************************************************************** ************** *************************************** ******************************************************* ************** Cell Hello ******,My deepest condolences on your loss. **** will be greatly missed in the cart and carriage industry. The purpose of this letter is to demand refund of money owed to me regarding my open account. Also, to request the replacement tufted bench seat for the Sport-Ray to be shipped that was damaged during shipping and **** was going to replace. Brake fluid leaked on it damaging the vinyl.Quite a few years ago I sent back a two wheel cart that I couldnt get balanced. **** applied the funds towards the Sport-Ray. I had also ordered two Sprint carts, and cancelled one of them. Neither of the Sprints went into production prior to cancellation of one.I demand the account balance to be refunded.If **** Carriage remains in business Id like to order two 28 marathon wheels with brake tab/flange in Cherry Illusion. I would expect delivery in a timely manner with the replacement bench seat. Id would gladly accept the 28 rims (with brake flange) prior to being powder coated as I can do that locally along with the tire not mounted. Please consider this as an option and price accordingly.As of September 15, 2019 I had a credit balance of $3462.00.A copy of the **** account is enclosed. Please communicate with your intentions.If payment/delivery of goods is not made by January 01, ****, legal action to enforce your obligations may be taken.       On Feb. 2, 2023 I paid a deposit of $497.50 to this company, for a set of Extreme Pnuematic tires mounted on black wheels for my horse cart. I was told that the wheels would be manufactured, and delivered within 6 weeks time, "definitely before summer". I began contacting the company in May ********************************************** had any contact from them about my order. I had sent multiple ******** messages and emails with no response. On June 9th, I got a ******** mssg from *****************, saying that he was undergoing treatment, but that my wheels were finished, in the parts area and being packed.After still not receiving the wheels, I sent more information requests. Finally on July 13, 2023 I received an email from "******" (the owner's wife) saying that the owner had been ill, my wheels were ready but were waiting on the rubber tires. It would be 2 more weeks, I was the top priority, they would be mounted and shipped to me by Aug 7th.I told her that I would wait that long but if they weren't here, I wanted my money returned and I would get them elsewhere. She said the tires were due to come in early, verified my address, and would contact me for the payment balance and shipping costs. I have had no more response from them even after trying to contact them with email, phone voicemails and messages to their ******** page. I have since learned that the owner passed away 8/17/23. There has not been any information or announcement about how the company plans to move forward, or honor their customers' pending orders. I have been in contact with others that have placed large money deposits and have been awaiting delivery for months, and some for YEARS. It seems that the company continued to advertise, sell and take people's money. But instead of using that money to manufacture that customer's order, they tried to play "catch up" on backlogs. I am a good customer of **** ********************** and have ordered 2 carriages over the years, over $9000, paid in full.
