Filing Complaint ******************* **************** ***************************************************************** (**** TokayBlvd) *********** Moving Forward ***************************************************** 608 395 **** I contracted services with the company Moving Forward to pack and move my home 2/15/22 in 3 phases. They were to pack transport items and take unwanted items to clean sweep, donation and a dumpster was also contracted. On 3/3 Items were moved and part of the load went to *******************., part to a self storage unit and the rest was tossed or taken for donation. It is at this point that we began having problems. After the couple of hours of unpacking I asked ***************************** where my cd storage cabinets were since several boxes CDs were unpacked. She said she would investigate on. A worker recalled packing up the cds. I asked ***** again , the actual movers said they did not recall and showed me a picture of the storage area with floor to ceiling boxes. At this point I hoped that the cabinets were in the storage area but did not feel I should pay 75$ an hour to dig them out since it was not my mistake. Never heard anything more.On 2/25 I spoke to ***********************, ****** Services Manager, about the issue during the phase 2 meeting and she said she would investigate. I heard nothing back. On 3/1I brought it up again and was told that it would be discussed with the owner. Again nothing.On 3/21 when asked for the final payment I refused. The owner Marianen ****** did call me saying she knew nothing, set up a time to see if the cabinets were in the storage unit. Some one did go in to see that the cabinets were not in the storage area and now am being offered 200$ for cabinets worth 1000$. This is not making me whole.Business response

We are sorry to hear that ****** was not satisfied with our services. I realize that I did not receive the message initially that she was unhappy. Once I spoke with her, I immediately scheduled two of my ladies to look for the missing piece of furniture. We do believe that do the condition, the item fell apart and had to be disposed of.
We have offered to buy a new piece of furniture and will deliver and set it up for her.******* is aware of this and seemed happy with the solution, The replacement is set for next week.
This will be at no cost to ******.
