      I purchased a dog from Sunny Hurricane Siberians for $1,200, plus a $140 delivery fee. I put down a $206 deposit, and paid $1,140 upon delivery, for a total of $1,346. After having the dog in our home for a couple of days, we knew that it wasn't going to work out. In the contract we signed with Sunny Hurricane's owner, *************************, we agreed that if we could not keep the dog, that she had first rights to ownership before we sold him to someone else. We honored that and contacted ******* to start the return. I offered to drive the dog or meet her halfway, but she insisted that it was no problem to come and get him. She came and picked up the puppy and all of the things that he came with (food, leash, toy, treats, collar, bag, ownership papers). Everything was in perfect shape when we returned it, except we used a little of the food and treats. Upon return, I expected a refund of everything except the deposit and the delivery fee. In the contract it states that the deposit may be returned when a new home is found, so I expected the deposit to be refunded later. Today, I received an invoice from *******. She found a home for the puppy, but decided that she was not going to give ANY of the money back to me from the sale. She could have declined taking ownership of the puppy, and we would have then sold him to someone else. In this case, SHE sold the dog to someone else and collected over $1000 from another buyer (sale price of $1000 plus delivery). So Sunny Hurricanes got paid from two buyers for one dog. This is very unethical and I would like to file a formal complaint, in hopes that I get my money back from my return, and so this doesn't happen to others. I have been messaging back and forth with Sunny Hurricane's owner, *************************, and we are unable to resolve this issue. I am expecting a full refund, because she accepted the return of the purchased dog.
