    Pattern of Complaint:

    In June of 2022, BBB detected a pattern of complaints for HuTerra LLC and sent them a letter requesting a response for this pattern. These complaints pertained to consumers claiming they have hired this business for assistance for fundraisers and they have not received their owed funds, and the business has not been responsive to inquiries from the consumers regarding the status of the owed funds.

    As of July of 2023, this pattern inquiry has not been responded to.

      I purchased a$125 Amazon gift card through HuTerra on 5/9/22 and the money was debited from my checking account on 5/11/22. When I tried the access the gift card confirmation number in order to redeem it at Amazon, my HuTerra wallet stated that the details were not available. I have emailed HuTerra multiple times with no response and tried calling the phone number on their website which was disconnected.

      I purchased a $200 Amazon gift card through HuTerra to support my grandsons soccer group. The money was charged to my checking account but the gift card was never processed and credited to my account on HuTerra. I tried gifting it to my husband at the email address we both have access to but it was never received.

      An Amazon e-card for $100 was purchased on 4/17/22. The money was deducted from my checking account on 4/19/22. The card was to be gifted me, at my email ************************** The information in my wallet indicates that the recipient can expect the card on 4/17/22. That has never happened. I have emailed their customer support 4 times, and a automated response is received that they are working on it, but nothing happens. I have also left a message on their voice mail, again no reply from them.

      We started this as a fundraiser for the Gladstone Senior Class All Night Party. I contacted the company beginning of April asking for our check since the party is end of May. I was told by ***** that she no longer handles accounts and has forwarded my message on to someone who can help. I have emailed, I have called, I have not heard from anyone at this company. They owe us close to $2000.00. They have received the information requested from us to do their business, we just want what is owed to us before the party in three weeks.

      I have been submitting receipts for fundraising money with Huterra for months. The last payment was long ago and nobody will communicate with me on how to recover my fundraising funds. I believe this should be illegal. I want my payment to be deposited so I can be done with this company. They need to payout the funds that were raised for schools and sports clubs before they shut down business. I will note that they are still accepting receipts so they are probably being paid by the companies which is fraudulent.

      Our non profit has been submitting receipts to HuTerra Foundation since 2019. We have not received reward payments on these receipts since January 2021 and those were for 2020. The reports I can see online stae checks were issued, but we have not received. I have sent several emails asking to be advised of when payments will be received. I did get a few generic responses from someone named *********************, but nothing was resolved. My last few emails have gone unanswered. I have tried to call the number listed as Huterra Foundation and it is answered by a machine telling me I have reached *******. I have left messages there that have also gone unreturned.

      My organization, Wisconsin Rebels Softball, signed up with Huterra to earn money for the players in our organization. I was reviewing our organization's summary from 2021 and compared it to the deposits on my huterra app and have found some discrepancies. The report indicates that we should have deposits from July, August, September, October and November totaling ******., however, none of these were deposited into the account on the app so that I can request payment. I have had issues in the past with deposits not being paid and would like this issue resolved. I have emailed the company many times without a response, as well as left a phone message, again with no return call.

      I am the person from our church (********** - ************, **) who is in charge of a fundraiser through HuTerra Rewards. We forward receipts from participating businesses to HuTerra and in return we are to receive a portion (most often 1 1/2 - 2%) . Another portion is kept by their foundation. HuTerra keeps changing how often we will be sent a check, but the last 'promise' said we would get it quarterly. In 2020 we didn't receive a check for a year and now for 2021 it has been over a year. I have tried contacting them, including the *** by email and get no response. Right now our church is due $449.17 for all of 2021 plus January 2022 & February is almost over as well. As I check on other groups using HuTerra as a fundraiser, I find them having problems too. I am totally frustrated that a local organization as big as they are cannot follow thru on their end.

      Our school PTO uses HuTerra to raise funds. We haven't received any funds from HuTerra since April 2021. They stopped communicating in September 2021 and that is also when our last organizational reports were posted. The phone number associated with them has been disconnected and they don't respond to emails, help inquiries through their app, or their ******** pages. They haven't communicated anything with users or administrators of the programs that have been using their services. Are they closed? Are they going to give money to people who have raised funds using their apps? Or are we just out of luck?

      Huterra is a a fund raising organization that allows users to upload pictures of participating vendors' receipts to raise funds for their chosen non-profits. In my case, my non-profit opted to have the funds raised by members paid back to them by Huterra directly. I have contacted their customer service email because the approximately $40 I raised are not available to me in the app like they should be. I provided examples of what I should be seeing (based on screen shots from other members who did receive their funds) vs what I actually see in the app. **************** continuously said the funds are paid out quarterly and that I should see them at the end of each quarter. However, I raised the funds over the period of over 12 months, yet I never was given access to the funds in the app. Over a series of over 15 emails over a month's time, I explained the issue repeatedly and asked the Huterra rep to call me so that we could resolve the issue more quickly. He ignored my requests. I also called their customer service number more than 5 times, but no one ever answered the phone and no one returned the messages I left asking them to return my calls. I would like the funds I raised to be made available to me like they should be.
