I hired Risen Lawn Care for snow removal for the 2022-2023 season and was pleased with the service. I hired them to do some lawn repair and lawn rolling, $596.08 on 3/2/23 and $587.64 on 4/19/23. Due to the drought conditions of last summer, we mutually agreed to hold off until we got some rain. We communicated throughout the summer.When the drought continued, Risen Lawn Care agreed to to take the money already paid, $1,183.72, and apply it to the 2023-2024 snow plowing season. I paid an additional $503 for plowing and $144.38 for salting. In all, I've paid $1,831.10 for services that were never completed. I was told I would be refunded my money at the end of the snow season, April 15, 2024. I've reached out twice since then, but have not gotten a response.I simply want my money returned.Review from Jason O

Used for 2 seasons for snow, one for lawn. Had 5 occasions where we were told that they could not attend to our commercial property. Plow accident, car crash, worker unable to do lot with cars present, to name a few. Also told they had come several times when no one ever did. Last winter they ran over a 8 year old tree and snapped it off at the base despite knowing where the pavement ended and the grass began. To this day the promise of replacing the tree has been unfulfilled.This year we went 4 days of no one attending our lot, though they said they came, we had snow of up to 18 inches indicating that they lied. We eventually flagged down a guy in a plow truck passing by and paid him cash to do part of the lot for our customers. Risen gave no call, no noticed of why they didn't come out. I did get an email saying that his brother would come out and "look" at the lot. IF that ever happened, it did us no good. We have since contracted with a new company and asked for our money back. To date, no response and no surprise. PS, any positive reviews you see for them is because they offer a discount if you post one. I am guessing those reviewers regret it.

Hello *****, You have been responded to and I explained to the best of my ability the circumstances in which our employee had said the lot was cleared during the recent snow event. Sadly, what youre describing is not accurate and whats obvious is your frustrations which I have openly tried to make right with you. Unfortunately with a major snow event there can be mistakes made. and were continuously working to better ourselves for when these mistakes do take place. After two years of service however, it would appear we mustve done more right the wrong. How easily a customer forgets after a mistake is made.Review from Lorraine N

This was our fourth season using Risen Lawn Care for our lawn mowing, fall & spring cleanup, and fertilizing. They offer reliable and professional service. Their rates have always been reasonable, and their communication efforts are top-notch. Coming from a background in sales, I can appreciate quick responses and a business that welcomes questions. We've used multiple lawn care companies in the past, and Risen was the first to impress both my husband and me. To date, Risen has been excellent to work with. We will be using them for years to come. Thank you to Patrick and his team for their efforts.
