      Hooper's Service team recently assisted our family with a furnace clean & check. Every part of the process was professionally executed, from scheduling the appointment to the day of service. The technician was especially respectful of our home, and wore protective foot coverings and face mask during his visit. He was extremely knowledgeable about our heating and cooling system and patient with our questions. At the end, we opted to sign up for Hooper's Home Comfort program, which was offered without pressure or obligation. It seems like a great opportunity to save money and ensure priority service when needed in the future. We appreciated the level of quality products and service options our technician provided, and we will definitely use Hooper in the future for all of our residential HVAC and plumbing needs.

      I own a business and have been using Hooper's services since 2012. I love them, and they are my go-to local contractor for plumbing and fire suppression. They always immediately answer my calls and emails on the first try, and are quick to get me the help I need. My favorite part has been the tradesmen I have met. True craftsmen and professionals. The guy who helped us with some water glycol projects during our startup buildout I would request by name for years after until he retired. Other folks go out of their way to teach me and help me think through a project. Everyone has always gone out of their way to help us with our mission. Just the latest story was a week ago we had our 50 year old underground water main rupture and start flooding our business. My initial email for help went out at 11:30pm, and at 6am the next morning I had a response with someone on site an hour later. Days later a new main was designed and installed. We will continue to turn to Hooper first.

      On 10/25/21 I got a call from my wife while I'm at work. She tells me she was startled because strangers were having a conversation in our garage. Confused, I open up my security camera app and sure enough men with their hoodies up are walking in out of my garage. I rush home (30 min drive) and she calls me again saying she sees they work for an electric company and not to speed home. Our power was not out so we were just curious what was going on. When I did arrive I will admit I came off annoyed, I asked the pick-up driver if he was the manager and is there no protocol to let the homeowners know they will be working on their property let alone walking through their garage. He was instantly dismissive and replied “no”. They were there for WE Energies so they didn't have to ask for permission. I asked him, “what if my wife wasn't decent?”. He shrugged me off. I asked him if he had a wife and if he’d be upset if she had been in this situation. Before he could answer, some other guy pipes in about how his wife would be “smart enough to look down the street for electric co trucks”. So disrespectful. I was now mad and asked that guy another scenario, “what if my dog was in the backyard and he had bit one of you protecting his yard? Who would be liable for damages?”. The guy says “you would”, and before I could even say “exactly why I don't want you trespassing” he tells me, “Yeah and if he bit me I’d ***** *** **** your dog”! At this point I said some things that I'm not proud of, and I do regret but I hope you understand why. Then when I start taking pictures of all their truck numbers they say, “call WE Energies. They’ll laugh at you and do nothing, or here I’ll call my boss he’ll pretend to be sorry but we’ll all laugh together back at the shop tonight”. So they call the boss, his name is Tim S*********, and sure enough he tells me “yeah man my guys shouldn't have said that stuff”. He tried to do his obvious job of damage control but like the other guy said they’d probably all just laugh about it later. So there is nothing I can do but write these reviews while armed people trespass on my property and if they shoot my dog I'm liable. It was obvious they were not worried about repercussions because they are subcontractors of WE Energies. I'm not even saying you need to ask for permission, we appreciate the skilled work of electricians, but jeez a courteous knock and a heads up goes a long way. I have video surveillance of the non-uniformed men with hoodies up walking in out of my garage/backyard. If you have a dog or your pets are like family I suggest contracting with a different company.
