This is for the New Advanced Auto on Hwy 50 in Delavan. Went there and said my back brakes needed to be checked as I heard noise. I signed a document saying I would pay $77 included in the needing breaks for inspection. After 50 minutes they came back and said they had done full inspection of the car. Why? I did NOT ask for this. They said I needed new back brakes but they were not that bad AND front brake fluid. I said I thought I had that done at dealer less then a year ago. They claimed to see it on ****** that it was not done since 15k miles. Then they gave me price and suddenly said I needed rotors too. I also called my dealer who said I had brake fluid done at 49k miles. I am at 56k miles right now. When I called them onthat they suddenly changed their tune and said they did see that on ****** now. Really? Told them I did not think I was going with them as I was feeling not trusting. They asked me for a credit card for the $77. I refused to give it. Got in my car, tried to leave. They literally locked me in the place. They would not let me pull out. Would not open the door. Manager came and tried to calm me. I gave them the stupid $77 and then they let me leave. I have reported this to local police too as that is INSANE to lock me in there for $77 when their service was terrible and they are clearly liars trying to get more business out of me. This is VERY disappointing as I would love to give local business the work. The owner tried to talk to me but I was shaking and felt so violated that I just left. Do NOT use them. They try to do things you don't need too. Very sad as I was hoping for something local versus going to ********* to my dealer. However, I can totally trust the dealer who has done a great job for me for 5 years.Review from Brian S

Advanced Auto Clinic of *******, ** changed the oil on my car and used the wrong aftermarket oil plug to replace the factory plug. Oil leaked out around the plug, onto my garage floor and coated the underside of the car. Not realizing what they had done I took the car to the dealer to see if they could diagnose the oil leak . They sent me pictures of the oil leak due to this wrong plug. Obviously I asked the dealership to fix the car so that I didnt end up having an engine failure due to driving the car without the proper amount of oil. When I called Advance to explain what had happened they said they wouldnt cover any cost unless I brought the car back to them to fix. They charged the oil improperly! A task that is hard to mess up! It made no sense to take it back to them, low on oil, to have them do the same thing over again. They refused to cover any cost.Beware! Advanced Auto Clinic of ******* is an unscrupulous business unable to even properly change oil!

*****, we offered to take care of the problem but you told us the oil pan was striped out and had to pay for a new oil pan, this was not true. Had you dealt with us in a cordial manner we would have taken care of the issue. The drain plug was replaced with the part listed for your vehicle specifically and was installed correctly, however, the part was faulty and did not seal correctly. The drain plug gasket was the problem, not a striped out oil pan. Had you brought the vehicle back to us we would have taken care of the problem 100%. We stand behind all of our work with a 3 year 36K mile warranty and had you contacted us we would have taken care of it at our facility . We have a great reputation and an A+ rating with the BBB for a reason. We have been in business for twenty years and stand behind everything we do. Not all parts are perfect and they do fail and are faulty out of the box from time to time. We are human and are not perfect either, but here at Advanced Auto Clinic we will do what it takes to make things right, however, we need to be allowed the opportunity. You however, are very accusatory and did not allow us to make it right. We perform quality repairs on thousands of vehicles per year with great success and we are human and parts do fail but we are the furthest thing from "unscrupulous" my friend. Good luck in the future *****, I hope you find perfection in all of the businesses you deal with.
