I went for an estimate to replace back brake pads. They gave me a figure for front and back, pads and rotors. I was told "there is only 10% left on your pads and the rotors cannot be salvaged - front and back - there was another percentage for the either the front of the back that was low too). I trusted the assessment and made an appointment for repairs. Then I was advised by someone who had issues there to get a second opinion so I did. The estimate at another shop came in 700 dollars less and they told me that the front brake pads and rotors were good - only 25% used so far and did not recommend replacement yet. I admit I was rather shocked. I understand shops set their own rates, and set their own hourly labor rates and employee salaries, staff shortages can be brutal and parts can vary in cost based on demand and inflation. I get all of that but to explain damage that doesn't exist is fraud. I obviously cancelled my appointment - then I found yet another person who had a similar experience. This is just a warning to others. I am disappointed in being treated that way but also relieved that I found out in time.

When customer came in we inspected the brakes and we recommended rear brakes soon due to having 1mm in brake pads left. You can see the attachment with an example brake pads showing at when the pads are 2mm or less they need immediate attention. When we install brakes we always do the pads and the rotors together so you won't have issues with squeeky or noisy brakes. Also when doing both it avoids brake pulsating and proper braking and longer wear life. The front brakes were at 4mm brake pad so as far as needing replacement they didn't need immediate attention but we recommended getting them done while the rears are being done but not necessary. Were sorry to hear if there was a miscommunication on what needed to be done but as far as price we quoted $449.99 for front brakes (pads, rotors, and labor plus tax) and quoted $429.99 for rear brakes (pads, rotors, and labor plus tax) These prices are very competitive with all auto repair shops and even much less than the dealer. You could call shops and find that out very easily. Not sure what kind of brake job was being done for $180.00 but it was probably just brake pads (just on the rear)which is not recommended to do but looks like a shop possibly did do that, but it is not the correct way. We have been in business for 51 years and we care about every customer and there experience. Sorry that you feel this way!

I had taken my car to f&f for a 4 wheel alignment. I had a wheel bearing replaced and it was needing an alignment. I paid apx. $150 for this service. A few weeks later I was having a hard time driving the car, the steering wheel had turned and it was clear the alignment was off again. I took it back in yesterday, they said yes it was off we can correct it. I waited for 2.5 hours for them to fix it. While waiting, I see a different employee using an air hammer/chisel on my car under the hood. (Something not related to properly aligning the suspension of the car.) Once the job was done I opened the hood and explained the damage. I said I wanted my "discounted" second alignment payment back $50, which I did receive. Once I asked 2 employees why they would do that, the did not answer. I then asked for a mamanger/owners phone number to discuss this problem with them which they refused to do. I then said I will be back tomorrow to speak to someone and file a complaint over the damages you have done to the structural integrity of my car.

The customer originally came in for an alignment on 5/26/2022 saying his steering wheel  was off and he just had new control arms and a new bearing replaced elsewhere. We did the alignment and straightened the steering wheel.

Customer returned 7/11/2022 claiming steering wheel had gone off center, abs and differential lights were on. Also noticed grass and mud on the underside of the vehicle. We ran codes on the lights which came back as a left rear speed sensor and then proceeded to re-align the vehicle.  While aligning the vehicle we noticed the left rear control arm bolt was loose, at which time we tightened. This time the vehicles camber was off,  to adjust the front camber manufacturer instructions require the centering pin on top of the strut mount to be removed which requires a chisel and hammer or air chisel , in which case we used an air chisel.  While removing centering pin it caused a **** on the top of the strut mount itself.  This did not cause any structural damage to the vehicle.

Customer returned shortly after we aligned the vehicle asking why there was a small **** on top of the strut mount, we proceeded to explain the procedure of the camber adjustment and he was not believing it stating he was a mechanic and said we would hear from his lawyer. We didn't charge him and offered to fix the small **** on the strut tower to defuse the situation.  At which point he refused.
We have not yet heard from his lawyer.

On 4-27-22 I purchased 4 tires & 4 rims New from F&F Tire World. The cost was $2264.80 I drove the truck for a couple weeks and noticed a shaking on the front and rear of the Truck. I thought it may be the roads... I drove the truck another week or so the shaking got worse. I returned to the place of Purchase on 6-2-22 on ************** in **********, they rebalanced the tires & tried to re-align the truck. After they finished the work, I took a service tech on a test drive to see if the issues were resolved we observed that the shaking was still there, and the alignment wasn't correct as the front end and rear was shaking and the steering wheel was crooked driving down a straight flat road. I was not satisfied and returned the truck the next day to F&F Tire World in ********** on Mooreland. The manager at F&F Tire in ********** on *********************** refused to service the work or return the tires which have posted in the store a 45 day return policy. I then told me to leave I asked his name he refused and said If I didn't not leave, he would call 911.... I asked him his name again and then told me (****) and repeated to say if I don't leave, he will call 911 in a yelling voice.I left the store....

The customer came in looking to purchase a new set of tires and rims for his **** F150 truck. His vehicle had original highway tread tires and aftermarket suspension lift kit. The sales manager showed him multiple different options of rim and tire packages including upsized tires that would go with the suspension lift kit on the vehicle and with the more aggressive tire that he asked for.
So he selected the All Terrain Tire from Continental and picked out the rims and tires as a package option.  The customer came back a month later saying he was feeling a Vibration between 63 and 70 miles per hour and said the steering wheel was crooked but the car drove straight.  The vehicle was test driven twice by two different technicians and a third time with the customer and our technician felt that it was a typical truck drive with new All Terrain tires. The decision was made after the test drives  to rebalance the tires and double check the alignment on the vehicle.  The readings on the alignment machine indicated the vehicle was in alignment per the ** specs, not with the aftermarket lift kit. The machine does not allow a variance for aftermarket additions which was explained in depth to the customer. We offered to send him to one of our other stores so an auto tech there could double check to make sure that we did not miss a problem or if he chose to go to a different service facility and if they found a problem, we would reimburse him the cost of that service.  The customer went to our facility on Moorland Rd. The manager at that location called the Tire Representative for Continental Tires and explained the problem. The rep said that if the customer would like, they would replace his tires either with another Continental Brand Tire or General Brand Tire within the same size for free. The customer refused and demanded we replace the tires with a ******** brand tire. The rep said that they would agree to the ******** tires but only pay ********************************************************************************* *********************  The customer refused both of the offers and demanded free ******** Tires. The ***************************************************** General Tire and he was offered free replacement tires.
We cannot take back the used rims, these were specifically picked out by the customer and not
Returnable due to having tires already mounted and balanced. We will however consider
Having the customer return the tires to us and we will refund that money once he clears the
dispute with the credit card company which has already refunded him all his money. This is
very unfortunate as we have worked on other vehicles owned by this customer and never had
      a problem.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I read the response to my complaints some of this is true and some is a total fabrication to cover up the horrible actions taken and verbal attack taken by the Manager at the ********************* Brookfield Store. What he did was kick me out of the store, he threatened me by picking up the phone and said to me, if you dont leaveI will call 911 I said I reply, ok I will as soon as you give me your name, again he threatens with a 911 call!!! I asked him again please give me your name and again please give me your name He then gave me his name. I left the store not yelling or angry but very very disappointed in this company. I have had my last three or four  vehicles for new Tire service without an issue. The last manger maybe a year or two ago at moorland was a very honorable with good character. I had returned tires with issues with him without a issue nothing but respect for me and my business. Thats why I returned This last experience being and being a business owner in Brookfield Myself
1- never went so disrespected at any establishment in Brookfield or any community before.
2- never will I enter any F&F Tire service store again after being threatened by-the manager..
3- I have no trust for respect for the Savage low standard quality of workmanship this company  has displayed and is now fabricating a conclusion to fit their narrative.
4- I will only accept a total refund
5- I will have another tire center remove the tires
6- I will have my attorney contact F&F Tire to arrange a pickup
7- With legal advice to not step one foot on any F&F tire tire properly after being threatened with arrest by local authorities made by F&F tire in ********** Moorland store
8- I hope this can and will be resolved by moving to cooperate with my requests..
      Thank you

The customer came in to drop off his truck so that it could be inspected and double check for
an alignment and balance problem and possibly to change tires. The manager had spent
the previous Friday contacting the ******************************** as the customer had
thought maybe it may also be a tire problem. When the customer came in, the manager
attempted to explain to him the options offered by the tire company. The company would
give him new tires in either the Continental/General lines or if he wanted a different brand
of tire, which he indicated he wanted ******** tires as replacements they offered
50% towards the ******** Tires. This did not make the customer happy and when the
manager attempted to tell him he was going to try to contact another representative in
the ******************* to see if there would be any other help for the customer, he
cut him off and never let him finish what he was proposing. Instead, the customer became
very upset and would not listen to what he was trying to tell him.  The customer told the
Sales manager exactly what was going to happen and that Free ******** tires was the
only option available. The manager felt the conversation was deteriorating as the customer
was becoming more upset so he asked the customer to leave, of which he refused at ******************
and demanding his name and saying he was going to call the corporate office and have
him fired. The manager finally told the customer that if he did not leave the store, that
he would have to call the police and have him escorted from the store. Not arrested!

The customer has contested the total amount of the sales invoice, that he paid by
Credit card, with his credit card company. This in turn has resulted in a chargeback
To us in the full amount of what he paid. The customer was offered an exchange of
Tires in the Continental or General Tire lines or if he changed to ******** Tires, they
Offered 50% towards the ******** Tires.  He declined. He can purchase tires from
Another company and bring the tires he got from us back to our Bluemound Rd.
store. It is his responsibility to return the tires to us and he has always had a
cordial, friendly relationship with our management at the ********* location.

************** has been in business since **** and have had thousands of satisfied customers.
It is unfortunate that we have been unable to work out an acceptable solution to this long time
      customers satisfaction.

I reject the ridiculous offer when the tires are Warrantied to satisfaction within 45 days after purchase which I demonstrated that I was unsatisfied with the tires and require 100% moneyback the tires and rims were a package deal according to F&F tire not just tires or rims along that requires a complete 100% money back guarantee refund.

This company ruined my sons vehicle and refused to fix what they broke if he didn't pay for it. They allowed my son to take an unsafe vehicle off their property with a baby in it after they broke it it. What was supposed to a 200 job is now a **** job that my son has to try to pay for out of pocket when they did it. No one will contact us and said its our problem not theirs. They also admitted to breaking it and also admitted taking advantage of him.

Good evening my name is Dakota **** I'm emailing about the information on the complaint with f an f tire. I dropped my vehicle off to have an alignment done an have them check out my breaks. They later that day called said I needed a intermidate shaft which I had the part at home just wasn't sure how to do it so I asked if they did that kinda stuff seeing they were tire an muffler service. The gentleman I spoke with said they could do it for said amount so I said go ahead and do it if I need it for the alignment. He called right before they closed that day an said he couldn't get to it until the next day, I said no big deal. The next day comes to the afternoon an he calls an says I snapped the bottom bolt on the intermidate shaft an can't do anything about it unless you want the rack an ***** replaced (which wasn't bad) an I couldn't afford over **** dollars to fix it. I asked for options he said that's the only one. Well I went in to pick the vehicle up and the gentleman had nothing to say wouldn't look at me had no paperwork nothing an gave me my keys an sent me out. I took it to a different shop to figure how to fix it an they told me it was illegal and unsafe I then called my mom to tell her the situation an that it was going to cost almost **** dollars to fix and now where here an I'm still without a vehicle.

Any questions feel free to email me back or call me at ************ thank you!

************ brought his vehicle to us and requested we do an alignment. We found we could not do the
Alignment as the vehicle would need to have an Intermediate Shaft installed. When we called
************ he acknowledged that he knew the car needed the shaft and had already purchased
this part but found he could not install it himself. ************ never notified us that this part was needed
when he brought the vehicle in and asked us to do the alignment. ************ told us to go ahead with
the repair and when our technician attempted to begin the install, the bolt holding the shaft broke off because it was already seized in place. We notified ************ and told him that to remove the bolt it would take using a torch which would melt the seals on the Rack and pinion and require the Rack to be replaced. We then gave him an estimate on the replacement of the rack and pinion of $800.00.  He declined the repair and instead came to pick up his vehicle. The vehicle was safe to drive as the bolt could only be removed with the use of a torch. If the vehicle would have been unsafe to drive, we would have had the vehicle towed at our expense to either his home or to another repair facility of his choice.

************ did tell the other facility that he had replaced front end parts on the vehicle and that would
make sense as to how he knew he needed the Intermediate Shaft and with the bolt already seized in
place he would not have been able to finish the install himself. We did not take advantage of
************ as his mother states. The bolt broke off because it was seized in place prior to coming to
our shop either due to age or an attempt to remove it without success.  We discuss vehicle repairs with
the OWNER of the vehicle and we had already spoke with ************, who is of legal age and he felt our estimate to complete the repair was to high. We are not responsible for the repairs done at the
other facility as we would have done the same repair at a far lower price.

I would just like to know why they continued to crank on the bolt knowing it was seized or ***** or whatever the case was to the point where they snapped it off without informing of that knowing that the bolts for the shaft had to be reused cause I didn't supply bolts nor where they with the part. But to settle everything just wanna know if the stuff I had to pay for part an tool wise can be reimbursed seeing I didn't ask to have to replace the entire rack an pinion.

If they could write me check for 800 dollars to fix there mess up I'd take that as them fixing there mistakes an caring about there business

************ questions why we continued to crank on the bolt knowing it was seized or *****.
Our mechanic did not crank on the bolt. He attempted to remove the bolt and as he started to turn
the bolt it broke off. That was how we discovered the bolt was seized. ************ never once told our sales person that he had worked on his vehicle and installed other front end parts prior to bringing it in for an alignment and that he knew he would need the Intermediate shaft before we could do the alignment! He had already purchased this part and could not install it himself. We never said the bolt was *****.The bolt being seized or as ************ says was ***** is not the fault of F &F Tire Service or
the technician working on the vehicle.  We explained how the bolt had to be removed once we knew it was seized and by removing the bolt it would cause damage to the rack and pinion. We then offered to remove the bolt, install the Intermediate shaft and the rack and pinion for $800.00. ************ declined our offer and chose to use another facility that did the same job for nearly $2000.00

Customer satisfaction has been the goal of F & F Tire Service since we began servicing vehicles

seizing the actual freezing together of the threads and bolt lock-up. This is the definition of siezed bolt on ****** so tell me how a bolt that almost welded together spins an just breaks off?
