I purchased live poultry (day old chicks) from this company on April 6th 2023 in the amount of ******. After changing my ship date multiple times the company stopped responding and never shipped the chicks. I reached out several times and never received any birds or refunds. I ordered pullets in May 2023 and paid in full for this order. The pullets were to be shipped the week of August 9. I understand the owner of the company was in a bad accident and lost her life later in the month of August. The shipment of my order never happened. I ordered 40 chickens from this company as I have in the past. I Ordered the chickens on August 1, 2023. On August 15, 2023 I requested a refund due to finding out on their ******** page the owner was in an accident. Since then I havent heard anything from any emails, text messages and now their phones are shut off. I just want my $123.20 refunded. These chickens is what our eat during the winter.Initial Complaint

I was expecting a shipment of 75 chicks from Purely Poultry in ** that were previously paid for. They never communicated that they closed their doors. No refund has been issued. I'm out nearly $280 plus I had purchased my feed already which was hundreds of dollars.
