      *************************** (11/15/1985) the owner and the mechanic who was supposed to fix the vehicle.I had my vehicle brought to **** on the 6th of June contracted to do an engine swap for my vehicle. I had waited until June 30th for this job to be finished paying a total of $2567 ((rounded up the change($1500 on the 6th for labor) ($1067 on June 30th for the engine and other parts). I picked up the vehicle on the1st of July making it a mile before the vehicle broke down. I had contacted **** to see what was going on and why the vehicle wasn't running. He attempted to sell a speed sensor saying that was the issue. From the 1st as well as the 2nd I had waited for **** to take my vehicle back in with no response saying he would. On the 3rd I had the car towed to ****** so my father could take a look at it. Within 5 minutes he had noticed that the hose clamps were still in the same locations as before with aluminum oxidation on them, all engine mount bolts had zero marks of a socket being on them with rust still on the threads, the grime line on the engine where it meets the transmission was present, the exhaust bolts were rusted completely with zero marks of being moved, the oil was still black, the boot on the alternator as well as the coil pack had zero fingerprints on it as well. The engine was leaking oil out of the back side. The transmission pan had never come off and was only wiped off on the surface. The only thing that had been done was a single spark plug had been changed (when I was charged for 6). After looking over the engine my father had found it's serial number and it was perfect match to the car's VIN number. Both my parents and I had contacted **** to at least get something back for the job he didn't even do telling him we would *** if need be, refusing to cooperate what-so-ever.

      First off I have to state I'm not the owner of the business I only work for the owner. Secondly the person who made this complaint did it in malicious manner because she was trying to scam us out of doing the work for free. She came to my house in a manner that seemed like she was high on something and being very erratic. She hired us to replace an alternator because her vehicle wasn't starting *** when jump started only went a little ways and died. She informed us that multiple people had attempted to fix it and had failed. We were told every other shop had quoted her $850 to do the job we only charged her $250 to do the exact same job. This is how we treat all our customers with respect. After leaving happy about 5 mins later she decided to pull over on the side of the road to look under the hood even though I had already popped the hood and showed her all the work that had been done and that now her car starte ld right up and stayed on. She informs us she is missing 2 bolts that hold the air box in place. The same 2 bolts that someone else had removed before it ever came to us. And as well she informed us she had put cameras in her vehicle to monitor us because she has people breaking into her vehicle stealing all her clothes. We did this job for her on a Sunday when no body else would help her we got her in within the hour and instead of the tow costing her over $200 we got it towed to us from our tow company for only $85. We take pride in our work and we are the cheapest in the area by far. We do this to help people not s**** people over. 

       

      My name is *********************** by the way and as stated before I am in no way an owner of the company just the person who does the labor on the vehicles along with many other people as well but just because this customer is upset and only knew my name is not appropriate and i have spoke with the owner and they are also seeking legal action against this customer for slander and defamation of character. So they do request this customers slanderous comments not be allowed to be posted against them.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

      [Firstly the resposne ****************** provided has zero correlation to my compaint. Secondly I don't know whom the woman ****************** is reffering to in his response. My complaint is regarding an engine replacement of which he did not do and that of which I had paid for.]
