Very poor service and terrible reconstruction. I had a septic back up on 6/23/2021 in the lower level of my home (downstairs bathroom). The Servpro team that did the cleaning did a good job. When Servpro finally started the rebuild of my home on 11/4/2021 they sub-contracted with Miss Fix It. They brought in a young man who I was told by Miss Fix IT that it was his first day with Servpro but Miss Fix It had seen his work on other jobs and he does very well. My bathroom rebuild is horrific. The toilet was never removed too replace the sheet rock behind it and there is sheet rock mud extremely thick where he was trying to cover the holes remaining. He was painting the walls while he was sanding others. The vanity and sink were set and caulked to the wall without the floor being placed. It appears he was going to re-apply the oak trim that had septic damage. The water meter behind where the vanity is has now been sealed in the wall and needs to be changed by the Village of Cameron. I specifically talked to Servpro about needing to have the same type of vanity because of the water meter. I texted the owner on November 9, 2021 and sent him pictures of my bathroom. I told him that if he (Servpro) and Miss Fix It are planning to continue the job at my home I needed to meet with them on Thursday, November 11, 2021. Servpro, Miss Fix It, and the carpenter met with me on November 11, 2021 at my home. We went down to the bathroom and as I started saying what was wrong Miss Fix It said ya he's not done mudding yet. Servpro was talking about ordering the carpet and tile and that I needed to do that. I said I don't understand why I would be doing that your the project manager. At that time I told them that I would pay for the vanity, sink, and the paint, but I was not paying for the work. Servpro said that Miss Fix It needs to be paid, I said that I was not paying for the work and I needed the remaining money back from the $1,987.23. I have received no further follow up.
