I hired this company to move us on Sept 20, 2023 They arrived at the time they said they would. I had told them I had some antiques left in the house they needed to move and some boxes. There were some things that *** need to be re packed, they said they would bring boxes but only charge us for what they used.My husband walked them through the house showing them what needed to be moved. They said we did not need to be there as they knew what needed to be done they would lock up when they left. They had no idea how to pack a truck as they ended up calling a second to pick up what they could not find room for in the first truck. It was not a whole house full of furniture as my husband I had gotten most of it out already, we both have bad backs, therefore it makes it difficult for us to move furniture and boxes. The first truck delivered our belongings that evenening to our new home. They broke a mid century family heirloom table all 4 legs broken off that has been in my family for many many years, They broke hinges off of a cabinet they broke a dresser and on an another cabinet one of the handles is completely missing. I have yet to be able to get into the garage where they put everything because they have no idea how to pack and stack, but I am sure we have other broken items. After many calls to this company and and weeks later and after being told it was my responsiblity to be there with them. I finally recieved a call from **** who apologized. He offered us a 2% refund, which now that I think of it is a slap in the face.My husband purchased their insurance, yet not one person has provided us with anything we can use to file a claim. My husband about this first the table is destroyed **** said we could get it fixed, It will never ever be the same its value is around ******* . $280.00 refund for their incompentance is hardly conpensation. I would never use this company again, nor would I recommend them. I am totally disgusted with them.

Good afternoon: I am sorry for this experience, but I want to quickly address the issues. The customer's move was on *******, and **** (the ** of the office) had been communicating with the customer. There was more to move than anticipated, and **** explained that he sent out an extra person for free to accommodate the move and other adjustments. I started communicating with her on 10.10.23 via a voicemail and email. Then again on 10.12.23 I left a voicemail and emailed the customer. We did speak later in the day on 10.12.23 at which time I offered a 10% discount (NOT a 2% discount) which amounted to just shy of $290.00, but I rounded up to $290.00. She agreed to this compensation for the table at that time. An email came through later saying she would like a bigger compensation. Any compensations I offer are certainly NOT meant to be a "slap in the face". Again, we did give considerable discounts on the day of the move since it was larger than we anticipated, and there was some disarray involved that we couldn't have foreseen. I would be willing to offer significantly more than the original 10% discount of $290.00. I can go as high as $500.00 to put the matter behind all of us, but that is it. Please let me know. Thank you!

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. However, all I get is BS never one have I gotten a response from this company regarding how to file a claim on the insurance my husband purchased.  Go ahead and send the $500.00 and you will never hear from me again.

      Regards,

We hired Two Men and a Truck to move our belongings on October 3rd, 2022. They had contacted me shortly after the move to resolve the original complaint of the damaged dresser, since I had noticed that right away, but their email went to spam and I never saw it. So, I have been in contact with them via phone and email since December. I originally was emailing with a customer experience specialist (*********************) but then that went stale because he left the company. Then I was put in touch with a manager (*********************) and he seemed to want to help at first. I am now at a stalemate where they will not contact me back after an email and multiple voicemails have been left on the manager's phone. We had lots of damage to many items since the movers did not wrap anything when it was put in the truck. They are supposed to use the moving blankets that are in their truck to protect items from damage. They did not do this. They have photos of each item that was damaged. The big ones are our leather couch that the movers did not wrap when they put it in the truck and it rubbed up against the wall of the truck and cut into the leather. The other large item that was severely damaged was a custom dresser that was slid down the stairs on its top. It has white paint that is scuffed and gouged. I contacted the cabinet builder who made it and he said it would cost $400 to refinish the surface. I am asking that the dresser damage be paid for as well as the $0.60 valuation on all of the other items be paid for. This includes the 5 piece sectional couch, another dresser, my jewelry armoire, a wooden shelf, two plastic totes, and a lamp shade. Total valuation of those items at $0.60 a lb/item would be $399.
