I called them in July 2022 for free estimate. He said October. I called September 7. He called back in voicemail he said when it gets closer to October he would call me. I said I need a week advance for asking off work and call ***************. October 10 came and didnt hear from him at all . I thought I was forgotten they were to busy. So I called another business to do it they did that same ?day. Then Eau claire tree service showed up on October 17 2022 with all 4 trucks. They never call me to confirm *************. They said they called but I never heard from them since September 7 2022. It was already done by another business on October 10. And now Eau claire service has sent me a bill for ****** for their trip. And they did not do any work for me because it was already done by another. Company. Eau claire service wanted a estimate of ******* plus tax. This other company charge me ******* same job plus more. Was Eau claire service taking advantage of me or whatBusiness response

Eau Claire Tree Service LLC did give *********************** an estimate in July 2022 for tree work. She
accepted our estimate and at that time she was told the work would be completed in October
2022. We do not give exact dates as this is outdoor work and the weather is always a factor.
*********************** requested that we call her 1 week prior to coming to her property at **** 134 th St
in **************, **, to give her notice. I personally called her 1 week before, October 9 th ,
when I was ready to do the tree work for her, she did not answer her phone, I left her a
message saying we were coming in 1 week. The night before going to her property, October
16 th , I called her again and left her another message saying we were coming the next day to
take care of the tree work for her. My office manager heard the second message being left.
There was never a call from her saying dont come. I arrived at her property to do the work,
with 6 men and six trucks and the work was already complete. I charge from the time I leave
my shop to the time I get to the next job, running my crew and equipment to her property is
not free. I have wages, taxes, gas, and wear and tear on my vehicles. This is my trip charge for
going to her property. I have no issue if *********************** wanted to cancel with us, she had a
whole week to call me back and do so with the 2 messages that I left her. I can only assume she
got the 2 messages, as I left a 3 rd message onOctober 31 st when she called asking about the
invoice and she has obviously received that message. I have attached the call records showing
my calls going out to her.
