      The pictures of the food at our tasting did not match the food we were served on our wedding night. ****** also had her wedding dress spilled on. After we pointed out that the meals appeared different from the tasting, we were told that we were mistaken, and everything was the same. We explained that we had photos of the meals we were served at the tasting, and then there was admittedly a mistake with the menu and a change of cooks is what we were told.The whole thing with dinner seemed like a bate and switch; and a breach of the contract which we and the representatives of the Osthoff had signed.After speaking with ********** was confident that we would be justly compensated for all of the inconveniences and mishaps we experienced during our stay. We also learned that the gift basket that we found upon entering our room was supposed to be provided by the resort free of charge, yet ***** and ************************* were billed. We do not feel that $1,619.89 is equal compensation.After discussing these issues we feel that fair compensation should be $150.00 for the cost and inconvenience of the food tasting which now seems unnecessary, $3,000.00 which is roughly half the cost of our collective meals at our dinner, $332.78 for the cost of dry cleaning the wedding dress, and a two-night stay in the large luxury suite with a whirlpool tub that we were supposed to be in during our stay. Or $4,000.00 if our two-night stay in the large luxury suite with a whirlpool tub cannot be accommodated.The cost of this reimbursement is miniscule compared to the revenue that was generated by having our wedding at the Osthoff resort. Between the $18,132.38 we spent on our wedding not including our stay which we had paid an additional $1,370.80 and the accumulated value of our guests that stayed and spent money at the resort.

      Per our conversation in addition to what you already received, you will receive a check for $662.89 and a gift certificate for a 1-night stay in a room with a whirlpool tub.
      You should receive via mail next week.

      Hi ****,

      I find the terms we talked about this morning agreeable.  My postings on social media was before our conversation this morning and I will retract them once they are met. I will also update the BBB with our agreement and let them know that we are satisfied.

      Thanks, ****** & *********;

      ******,

      I just saw this email and wish I would have seen this prior to our discussion this morning.
      I also saw your posting on ******** and the BBB complaint you posted.
      When we closed the call, I thought you were fine with the resolution, which I also thought was more than right and just.

      I must have missed something.  Thoughts?

      Hi ****,

      I wanted to give you an opportunity to do right by correcting the mistakes the Osthoff had made on our wedding day.Unfortunately I am not satisfied about the gift you had given us.

      It was never about the money. It was the principal to make it right for us for the mistakes that the Osthoff had caused.

      What we have received as a gift was not fair. My dad is a heart doctor, so I have no problem spending money.

      At this point I will be contacting my family attorney and reaching out to the Better Business Bureau.  I will also be reaching out to local news stations & social media platforms next.  I am convinced that this company is committing acts of fraud. I am expecting a resolution soon.

      Sincerely, ********************;
