      ********* ********** of ************ Trade and Consumer Protection **************************************************************************** VIA EMAIL - ************************** April 6th 2022 To Whom It May ******** My complaint today is in regards to a contractor by the name of RA Heating and Air Conditioning, located at ********************************************* My wife and I own a Carrier residential air conditioner model 24ABB318ABN34010 with a serial number of 3419E01134, installed at our primary residence of **********************************************************************. My air conditioning was installed October 2019. Since install, it never seems to cool the house down very fast. We have had this ongoing issue since May of 2021. RA Heating and Air Conditioning, the installing contractor, made 5 separate visits to our home attempting to repair the problem. In May of 2021 I paid for the first service call despite them saying there are no problems with the unit. The four service calls following the May 2021 call were follow-**** because the air conditioning continued to have this problem. I am writing you today because RA Heating continues to demand payment for the third service call, despite them not fixing the unit. Enclosed is a letter I sent to both the ******************* and RA heating explaining my unhappiness with service events in 2021. TSI, a distributor of Carrier, replied and promised to take care of future repairs for my unit at their cost. I would ask that you contact RA Heating and Air conditioning on my behalf, and ask them to work to a satisfactory resolution of not billing for additional service calls other than the first, when the same issue continues. I also ask for you to investigate RA Heating and Air conditioning to see if they are taking advantage of other consumers in ********* with these unfair and deceptive billing practices.       We are very dishearten by Mr. ****** need to file a complaint and we have done everything he has asked and even got the Manufacture involved in his air conditioner equipment trouble. A simple phone call to me could have taken care of this rather then filing a complaint. On Oct 26, 2021 ************** got an e-mail letter from ***********************, ************************** Manager, stating this is a TXV failure and the repair would be done under warranty as soon as the temperature was warm enough to run the air conditioner. We have done three no charge calls for him to address this problem and we have not forgotten him!

      So to the call for payment from *****, that was an internal error due to employee changes in the office. **** retired and was told to clear the amount due by our head service tech, *****, and it was not done before her departure. I apologize for that.Then ***** in a new role of collection called for payment just doing her job not knowing the ball was dropped before her. That **** has since been cleared and when warmer weather comes there will need to be commutation to get access for the needed repair.

      I have been in business for 44 years and our history is totally clear as we are a very fair and honest company. So investigate R.A. Heating and Air Conditioning to set his mind at ease. I have NEVER taken advantage of any one and do not plan to with him!
