We signed a contract with Cabinet Masters on July 22, 2021 for cabinet refacing and sink replacement. The total invoice was for $21,588. We paid a deposit of $14,032 at that time. No work has been completed, and no scheduled work date has been set. They do not respond to emails or phone calls in a timely manner and often not at all. Now their e-mail accounts and phone numbers appear to have been abandoned. We are seek a completion of the work, or if that is not possible a return of our down payment with interest. Hired this company for kitchen remodel, contract signed March 23, 2022. Contract stated work to begin within 180 days, and deposit of $12,215 paid. I met with owner/designer to pick out tile Aug 16. After that date, she ghosted me, and there is no response to emails or phone calls. Her business address is vacant. She did not order any tile for the project per the store we were at. Since she has not responded and I have found several reviews that state she has done this to others (for >$55,000), I have gone to the police and filed a report of fraud. I have also notified the ***** and called NARI as she is supposedly a member. I am getting an attorney.Initial Complaint

About a year ago we contracted with Cabinet Masters by Sylvan to remodel our kitchen. We gave them a down payment of $15,000 with the understanding that they would begin work in approximately 6-8 weeks. When the time came we heard nothing from them or any of their subcontractors. We attempted to contact them by email and phone but received no response. We sent a Certified letter requesting cancellation and a refund. Still no response from Cabinet Masters. We have filed a complaint with the ********* ***************************, and Consumer Affairs ( ***** ). As of now, Sept. 2022, we are about to file a complaint with the Dane County ************************** During this time, over a year, we have sent countless emails and left a number of phone messages to Cabinet Masters seeking a resolution to this situation.Initial Complaint

I gave this business ( ************************* ) $13,115 for a down payment to remodel my kitchen. This was last August and nothing has been done so far. I went to the flooring/ tile store ( a different business that we picked tile and flooring from ) to see if there was a hold ** in materials and they told me ***** had nothing ordered for my kitchen. I can't get through via phone to Cabinet Masters and ***** won't email me back. I asked for my down payment back via email but have heard nothing about a refund.
