This collection agency refused to accept payments for an upcoming judgment lawsuit they were pressing on me after I applied to buy a house at 8 months pregnant, refused to allow a dispute, used intimidation tactics to try to scare me into not standing up for myself after I had my newborn baby girl and 2 year old son with me. I entered the building to complain about the illegal practices utilized by Shauna, in which Shauna literally shoved her co-worker out of the way of the computer and told me I had no choice but to pay her directly. I was mocked and laughed at while being dehumanized by this business when I tried to pay only the bills I agreed I owed. Payments I gave were placed on accounts that I disputed, I was then informed that I had no choice over which accounts I paid and that Shauna was in charge. In court their lawyer claimed he spoke with me in which I informed the judge that I called him on 3 different occasions in which his secretary told me he refused to speak with me and not to call again about this litigation. I informed the judge that I tried to pay margraf the money that they were suing me for but they refused to accept it. The judge then proceeded to ask their attorney to accept the money owed instead of pursuing the judgment but he said his client has in bold red letters not to make any arrangements with Amy W****. Margraf collections agency was informed that I was 8 months pregnant and trying to buy a house due to my pleads with them to accept the payment to prevent judgment. The judge said clearly in court "I don't know what you did to them, but they want a judgment and not money." It is stated in the court records. I have suffered with long term anxiety attacks which negatively effected my pregnancy causing preterm birth and negatively effected my physical and mental health. My home interest rate is 5.5% and my closing cost were over $8,000 for a loan of what was supposed to be $94,000 but ended up to be $110,000 due to my credit negatively impacted by margraf collections agency. My husband and I bought our house in 2016 and are still having severe credit and financial issues due to Margraf. I still suffer with anxiety attacks and ptsd.
