              On June 1, 2024, I visited Valvoline Instant Oil Change in *******, ** for a routine oil change on my 2020 ***** Civic Hatch. During the service, the skid plate/splash guard was improperly reattached, causing it to hang and bend with several bolts missing. I reported this to Valvoline on June 6, 2024, and filed a claim (CS1209050) with photographic evidence.The local manager, ******, disagreed with the repair cost quoted by *****, even though the local dealer matched his proposed price. Despite acknowledging the improper installation, ****** refused to cover the repair immediately, needing approval from his manager, ****.**** denied my claim, stating video footage showed the splash guard being replaced, ignoring the improper reinstallation that caused the damage. Currently, my cars splash guard is temporarily held up with zip ties, which is unsafe.I seek a resolution where Valvoline covers the repair costs as quoted by *****, ensuring the use of genuine parts for my leased vehicle. The treatment I received is disheartening, especially as this was my first time using their service.

              My wife went to get an oil change vehicle was in spectacular condition before arriving. After the oil change she pulled off from the business and could hear dragging from underneath she returned and they used zipped ties to tie the plastic that was hanging back up! Once I got home I noticed that whatever that was dragging caused a clamp to break off bumper! I have statements from employees with details of how they cause damage but the business is trying to take only half of the responsibility for the damage which it was all caused by negligence of my car when it was in they care! They tried to cover it up as well as didnt place it in the notes or any of there reports! Waiting for response but looking for legal advice so I can take legal action if necessary!
