I have a dispute with Online Trading Academy and my dispute is: the support of Online Trading Academy, which is something they brag about in their literature as well as their sales process, to learn their process and get my questions answered, is horrendous, extremely unreliable, and certainly not worth the exorbitant fee I paid them, in cash, which was $35,000. I am, and have been, utterly frustrated with how this company conducts their student support and am completely displeased and dissatisfied, and I am now seeking a refund of my paid enrollment fee. **************, we value student feedback whether it is positive or constructive criticism. It is this communication process in which we improve our methodology for delivering education. Over the past 25 years we have found many effective ways to instruct and many ineffective ways to instruct. Our goal is to simply do more of what is working and do less of what is not.
**************, we would love nothing more then to resolve every issue you have. If you work with the team at OTA we are confident a positive resolution will be found. We have extended many offers to help and support and to provide clarification of what appears to be a misunderstanding(s).
In some cases we found your claims to be inaccurate or misstated. In these cases weve provided documentation such as support logs, and screen shots of curriculum text to clarify. You made another complaint that Clik will cost you more, this simply is not true. OTA has never charged a student for Clik access. You also mentioned a charge for brokerage fees?? We are not a broker and therefore never charge any brokerage fees. For a detailed response to each or your concerns please see the attached document. A critical part of learning is the validation part; which is why students have tests, or projects to complete. Based on test scores and/or the quality of the project the instructor can assess a students understanding of the concepts taught. OTA provides and encourages every student to complete the validation portion of the curriculum. It is included with you program and remains available to you. We should mention the careful examination of trading ideas provided in the OTA picks, and XLT mentoring sessions are a key element. Student can benefit by performing their own analysis to the instructors analysis of direction, trend, entry points, stop losses, profit targets and odds enhancers.
We therefore; would like to reinforce our recommendation to utilize the learning reinforcement portion of your curriculum. It can be helpful to receive validation that you understand a concept correctly. Your session tracking history indicates you have not completed these activities.
The online mentoring sessions , the learning labs, challenge games, the basic series, and Hours with the instructors continuing education programs remain just a click away should you desire to take advantage of the various resources available to you.
Another component of the validation process is to seek support from the local center for a student trade review. Our open offer to review your approach still remains. This process of witnessing a students step-by-step process to evaluating an opportunity in the live financial markets often uncovers gaps in a students understanding. These gaps can lead to poor execution when the market information is not properly evaluated and acted upon. The evaluation of a student implementing their trade plan can bring clarity to the process taught in the core strategy course. If your approach is not in alignment with OTAs Core Strategy the problem areas can be quickly identified and addressed. We encourage you to take advantage of this service.
We encourage you to retake one or more classes at not cost. The online recordings available immediately and the live online classes are offered on a regular basis. The new On-Demand self-paced format has been a game changer for our students. We hope this new format will prove to be effective for you as well.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The companies recent ***** response is disingenuous at best. They replied with more untruths, continue to suggest I work with a process that is extremely poor and nowhere near satisfactory, place blame onto me, and accept no responsibility more of the same. I will reiterate, I have long been utterly frustrated with how this company conducts their student support and am completely displeased and dissatisfied. My patience has long ago run out. It simply is not worth the exorbitant fee I paid. I want a refund.
