I was terminated from employer 3/11/2022. Was advised my 401(k) would be available right away. I checked a month later and they werent. I called Fidelity which is who the plan is through the rep advised the company still has me listed as an active employee. So i thought Id give them time to fully update system with enrollment. Checked a couple months later once i started to receive statements from 401(k) plan logged in shows funds were available for withdrawal. I logged into my account on Monday 5/22/23 shows i wasnt eligible to take money . Called spoke with someone at 401k company. Rep advised Im no longer eligible as Im a current employee and back active .per rep my term date in their system shows 10/11/22 and back active 4/2023 since Im back with the company. Which none of this is true i havent work for this business since 3/11/2023. Rep explained that my file was updated with them quite a few times. Theyre not able to just go in the account and change anything all info regarding their clients comes from the employer directly. Im not able to do anything with my funds because they are reporting false information to the company . I dont possibly want to have to deal with the *** in the long run because this company is still claiming and reporting me as an employee
