I rented a permanent campsite at Backyard Campgrounds from Oct of 2022 until the middle of April 2023. The owners required a ****** security deposit for the camper to be hooked up to a REQUIRED black holding tank for septic purposes. The owner will not return this deposit to me. I have contacted her through texting the phone number she gave us to use, leaving voice mail, and also through messenger which was also a way she told us to contact them. When I moved the camper out the septic tank was not damaged, mistreated, or was not used for what it was intended to be used for. ***** sent me a message on my phone stating the deposit is used because the tanks have to be professionally cleaned. The owner's husband, ******, is the person to empty those holding tanks during the camper's stay. *****, the owner never said anything about this cleaning cost at the time of paying the deposit. The owners DO NOT give receipts when money is exchanged hands. They have the excuse that the receipt book can't be found or that she is too busy and will drop off the receipt later. The owner kicked me out of the grounds because my 7-year-old grandson jumped into the shallow part of the pool. And started yelling foul words at my 24-year-old granddaughter who asked her to not yell at him like. ***** then came barging into my daughter's camper and started yelling for all of us to get the blank out of the campgrounds and never come back. She then had her so-called security ****** my granddaughter out of the park. My daughter and I hired someone to move the campers out that next week.Business response

Good Afternoon, This is ***** owner of Backyard Campground.
In regrads to *********************** Letter. As she stated I asked them to leave because of the rudeness to myself *** several other moms at the pool. The grandaughter was in the pool and ******* was sitting at pool side letting the little boy run more then 30ft and jump into the 18Inch section of the pool multiple times. ******* did state this in her letter. I was at the office when parents came to me and said you need to get up here this boy is going to get hurt we have tried to tell the girl in the pool and we think the lady sitting by the pool is grandma. The girl in pool was ******** granddaughter clearly on the cameras and all the voices are recored she calls the other moms some very bad words. I came up to the pool to observe the situation. I watched the little boy run from the gate to the pool and jump into the 18inch section of the pool. I waited at the hand rails for him to get out I asked please don't do this again. ******* was sitting right there she said nothing to the lillte boy. The Grand daughter in the pool came out of the pool screaming and swinging at me calling me are one of the backyard b****** I said no Im the owner. She didnt believe me I turned to ******* and said you need to tell her that Im the owner and you will tell this little boy that he cannot run and jump into the pool. There are several witness to this incident.
Thats When ******* came here she could pay so much each month and I let her do that. I always give out a reciept. Marayne checks came from a bank as a check each month.
When we ask someone to leave. We give no refunds. this is clearly stated in a contract that they sign and hanging the office where they sign in every week.
