          BBB Serving Wisconsin urges extreme caution with these websites: berneselovers.com and purebredbernese.com. 

          The Velp Avenue, Green Bay, Wisconsin address the company was not a valid business address. Mail sent to it by the BBB was returned by the Post Office marked, "Return To sender. Not a Valid Address."

          Both websites are newly created (February, 2020 and October, 2020) and neither lists any contact information, except for two non-working phone numbers; 920-315-4840 and 920-479-2499. This "company" is not registered as a Wisconsin corporation according to the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions (wdfi.org) and no other information can be found about "Purebred Bernese" or "Bernese Lovers." 

          BBB Serving Wisconsin has received three complaints from out of state consumers in December, 2020 and January, 2021 alleging they paid money for a Bernese Mountain dog puppy but never received it. In all cases, once they paid their money, all communication from the "company" stopped. One complainant paid $425, another paid $1,000, and the third paid $850. In one case, the complainants drove nearly four hours from Chicago to Green Bay to find no such company existed.

          BBB urges extreme caution when sending money via untraceable payment methods. When making any purchase, especially from a website, only pay by credit card for the most protection.

          BBB also urges extreme caution when dealing with any company whose identity or location cannot be found nor its existence verified.
