I dropped my 2012 GMC truck off for a new transmission almost 3 weeks ago. I keep calling for an update and stopping by in person and keep getting the runaround. They wont return any of my phone calls. They wont update me on the status of my truck. I need my truck to run my route so I can make money.Business response

We received this vehicle via tow truck with no appointment on 5-21-24. I was in contact with the customer by 5-24-24 with a full diagnostic and estimate for a transmission rebuild. At the time that the vehicle arrived to us, we were scheduling over a month out which i made them aware of when i delivered the estimate. Even though we were booking out so far, i told the customer i would see what i could do seeing that they used this vehicle for work. The customer stopped by our shop on ****** with a complaint of not communicating and expressing frustration on our timeline even though the vehicle was almost completed at this time which would put us 2-3 weeks ahead of schedule. We had an issue with the rear driveshaft being damaged after that meet that set us back until 6-6-24 when which we called them for pickup. He did not pick up his vehicle until 6-10-24. We did not charge him for extra driveshaft repair costs. At time of pickup, I also apologized for any lack of communication or miscommunication in timing even though i don't feel there was any. I feel that we gave the customer excellent service and timing, and honored his initial estimate in its entirety.
