I own a transportation company hauling goods across the country, purchased this truck from ******* ********************** in August and have had nothing but issues. Regardless, when on my home time i place my truck in the shop at ********* peterbilt. I know nearly everyones name at the service counter and theyre fairly nice people but it seems i've identified an issue many times before which was an major oil leak in the rear of the engine. I am still under warranty til the 16th of june. It seems as though theyve been avoiding it on purpose i have pictures, showing the problem & have had representatives constantly look at and go under my truck to idenify the issue yet there has been no resolution. On the service file it was literally written ********** leak by pan. (NOT OUR ISSUE)". This is not excetable. How can you find something that a customer has countinues to pry at and not fix it. Now they clain they see and will fix it. Ive had this truck for about a year and have had it in the shop 16 weeks at the minimum. Im upset at ********* peterbilt because they constantly pretend not to see issues and resolve them. I can't run my business if i constantly have to spend more time in a shop because of work purposely uncompleted. Which now has cost me another week or two of profit equivalant to 5k-7k per week. They claim they will now fix it, but the damage has been done. I just want to make sure it's covered under warranty and also it is ACTUALLY repaired. I have proof of the service writting, which is claimed to be "worded wrong." But it isn't worded wrong because it is plainly obvious the repair work hasn't been completed prior to several complaints. The diesel mechanic says it's a 10 hour- 12 hour job. The engine must be pulled. Which is just another indication i will be off of the road for possibly week(s) at a time as my business countinues to bare the burden. If i could sell the truck back to ******* at this point i would. I've had bad experiences with ********************** in general.
