We had ************************* and his wife help refurbish a flooded cabin. They worked on the structure and inside. Their business card, ******** site, and internet site all say they were a LLC. They also had insurance. Work was started in September and finished in early January of 2024. Here is what was found: The main issue is no tounge and groove subflooring and not staggering joints. Floating seams not resting on joints. Removing the entryway support wall with it being load bearing causing structural issues with the roof, that if we had a snow load, could have collapsed the roof. All of this resulted in needing to not only remove the work on trim and flooring, that was already paid, but remove the existing beam and install a new one that ran the entire distance. The floating floor was tight to the walls and nailed in some areas with no underlayment causing the floor to expand and buckle. Even worse than just the areas where the subflooring wasnt fastened properly, and nails were not secured to anything, some subflooring didnt even have nails. Shower plumbing was not secured. Also the panels only had one nail each. All flooring rooms need to be redone. Also footers were put in just sand and no cement. ****** will not give us his insurance information and has blocked us. Other people have made complaints against them and they are saying I have had people post slanderous comments against. We do not know these people.
