Extremely mean and unprofessional. One of the employees is bullying me on ******** marketplace. I do have screenshots to prove this but there is no way to post them here. For the price of their listings ( they had a 2 bedroom listen for more than double what I pay for my nice 2 bedroom) I woukd steer clear away.

    Tyler Carlisle Properties, LLC Response

    02/20/2024

Tyler Carlisle Properties has never done business with ****************. Based on the zip code provided by her, it appears she lives more than 40 miles from any property owned by Tyler Carlisle Properties. **************** laughed at a ******** ad we posted, but later deleted her reaction after I did the same to her. I reacted to her ads in hopes that she would contact me. In her communication with me on ********, she asked me "WTF is wrong with you?" I stated, "I'm laughing at your posts because you laughed at mine. Please show some respect for other people who are trying to make a living. You don't live in ******************, yet you're laughing at my attempt to rent an apartment there. You don't know that this building was hit by a tornado last year and I have had to spend thousands of dollars to get it back to where I can rent it. But you laugh at it. Why?" She then told me she didn't remember laughing at my ad and said my reaction was disproportionate and immature. She also said that I didn't know where she lived and that where she lived was irrelevant. She also told me that my pricing was "exhorbantly (sic) expensive" and she hoped my "relatiation (sic) was worth it." Based on this communication from her, it doesn't appear that **************** is or ever was in the market for an apartment in ******, **. In response to her statement that our rent is double what she pays, I would like to share this information. Fair Market Rent for ******, **, as determined by the ** ********** of ******* and ***************** is $1680/month for a 2-bedroom apartment. Fair Market Rent is sometimes referred to as "40th Percentile Rent," because it is set at 10% less than the average rent charged in an area. The rent that Tyler Carlisle Properties charges for this location is 20% less than Fair Market (40th percentile). If indeed **************** only pays $675 for a 2-bedroom apartment, that means she is currently paying a rent that is in the lowest quartile of all rents charged in Polk County, *********. Despite her assertion otherwise, the rent **************** pays for a 2-bedroom apartment in *************** is not relevant to the price of rent in ******, ** in a newly renovated building with 2 assigned parking spaces, and storage. To be clear, at the end of my interaction with ****************, I deleted my reactions to her ads. I don't believe the reactions to her ads were publicly visible for more than 30 minutes.
