              Both my wife and myself went into Hudson Physicians to have a routine physical checkup. We specifically contacted our insurance company to make sure that these routine checkups would be covered under insurance 100% which it should be! After having the routine checkups we both received bills for something that was supposed to be covered 100%. This organization uses scribes in the examining room that dictate the conversation between Dr and Patient so that they can code the visit and the insurance doesn't cover it and they bill for it. This is unethical billing for a routine checkup.

              I got billed additionally for a annual checkup that should of been covered by insurance. Ironically a few months ago i defended Hudson Physicians against my acquaintance for the exact same issue. Gonna have to apologize to them after going through the same thing over a three month battle between insurance and the clinic. This was a visit i mind you that i waited for 2 hours because they miss-scheduled the time incorrectly as well. Re-scheduled for a new time an they missed the mark by 30min. This wouldn't of been so infuriating if the billing department didn't initially lie to me that they needed to bill for the additional coverage to get the insurance to cover the annual visit. I understand sometimes you need to bill extra but the doctor should of been informing me if we were reaching a spot where you were going to get charged extra but i should need to be lied to by the billing department.
