The following issues have taken place over the past several months, beginning on 6/6/24, and still have not been resolved as of 8/29/24. In all, I have paid Mex Muffler $1,240.00 directly for incorrect and unsafe work, and have given them several chances to fix and resolve said issues. Not only is the work that I paid to have done not completed correctly, but they have also done damage to my car in the process, initially costing me $494.66 in inspections and $346.88 to have fixed at the dealership (however the issue is still not fully resolved). As of 8/29/24, we have tried to contact Mex Muffler multiple times in trying to resolve this situation. The times that we have been able to get in contact with them, they have told us that they would reach back out, but have not done so multiple times. In trying to work with them and resolve this issue, they have become unresponsive.Initial Complaint

Had repairs done to my 2013 Chevrolet Equinox. Total time for work to be completed was 1 hour and 45 minutes. I provided my own parts. Labor charge alone was $600! No written estimate given. $600 for ONLY 1 hr. 45 min. Second man was needed for 15 min. of that time. On top of that, I had to return, again, in two weeks to have repairs done to the work they originally performed on Oct 5, 2023. Labor was warranted for 2 months. I was charged another $80 labor. This error cost me nearly an additional $400 for a seemingly mistake made by TexMuffler. When I confronted the company, and in particular, ****** and then the supposed owner, ******, about the labor charges alone, I was told by ****** that if I wasnt happy to go someplace else. To me this was an unacceptable and inadequate response.
