I had called Hanksters about a motorcycle they had. They told me it was available and that I could hold it for $500 deposit. I asked them if the freight charge was $575 and if there doc fees were around $300. The saleman told me yes and then took my deposit. I had them send a Buyers Order to my bank to get financing and they changed the freight charge to $1400. I told them they originally told me $575 and the saleman is saying he doesnt remember that. They will not give me my deposit back. They insisted that the freight charge is normal and that all dealerships have the same freight charge. They said it was what ****** was charging them. I got a Buyers Order from another dealership, Maxima Motorsports, which told me the freight charge was $575. Then when showing my salesman at Hanksters the charge he said it was for freight and set up although they already had dealer prep fees in the buyers order. I have inluded both Buyers Orders.

We have worked this situation out with the customer and he picked up the motorcycle from us and left happy. Not sure if **** forgot to close this claim after we worked out the questions that he had? This case should be closed at this point as he took delivery of the cycle with the price he wanted, thank you.

Paid $14,688.00 for a **** Arctic Cat ZR 600 137 on 1-22-24 from Hankster's Motorsports in **********, **. The ************** recommended I purchase separately 2 6in. dually carbides for the sled and they would install them when the assemble the snowmobile. I was charged $182.85 for the carbides and they were installed on the sled. I took delivery of the sled on 1-22-24 and took it home and went for a ride. After the ride, I looked at the carbides and found they installed 4in. carbides instead of the 6in. that we agreed on. I was never told they installed the cheaper 4in. carbides on the sled yet was charged the same price as 6in. carbides. The price difference is $25.00 ea. On 1-23-24 I called the dealer and left a message for my sales rep ***** to discuss this issue and he never returned my call.On 1-24-24 I called the dealer and asked to speak with a Manager. *** took the call and as I was explaining the situation to him, he interrupted me and said, "not to be disrespectful, but what do you need, or is there even a way to make you happy? We sold you the sled at cost and the well has run dry." "You already used the carbides, so now I'm supposed to eat the cost of them?" I explained to him they installed the wrong carbides and all I want is them to ship me the 6in. carbides I paid for and I would ship back the 4in. carbides. The Manager said, ship them back first and I will ship out the correct carbides in an angry voice.Based on how this business is talking to and treating me, I do not trust they will send the correct replacement parts to me. In addition, I don't think I should have to pay shipping due to the dealer's deceptive business practices. I am requesting a full refund of the $182.85 from this business and that they email me a pre-paid shipping label to ******************* to return the part to them. I am not interested in doing an exchange or any further business with this dealer.

On July 11th I gave a $500 deposit to ****************** for a ****** YZF R7 motorcycle I saw advertised on their website. At the time I was told that the motorcycle was to arrive by the end of July and they'd stay in touch with me to keep me updated. I was not provided with any paperwork, no receipt or pruchase agreement, NOTHING. When I finally got in touch with them at the end of July after much struggle I was told that they didn't know when it was to arrive or even be shipped I questioned about the paperwork and they told me that was how they've always done it. I requested my deposit back and they have refused under the grounds that they said it was non-refundable. I feel this is unreasonable as they never furnished me with the paperwork that is legally required per ********* Legislature Trans ****** 1 b. I have continued to try and get my money back and been pushed off and told they would refund me after the motorcycle was sold. They don't even have the product they are holding my money against. I was then told they would just give me a store credit and they don't care about my opinion. These interactions have been via text with the owner of the business. I insisted that I want a refund and not a store credit as I have no interest in doing business with them. I no longer have confidence I can resolve this directly with the business and am concerned that they continue to take deposits without providing the legally required paperwork.

Was lied to about snowmobiles that I purchased and specifically 1 has a issue running and has been back twice for repair and I was told by the owner and salesman that he would take care of the problem. Sled still has problems and I have continued to spend more and more money on this. **** has lied and WILL NOT stand behind the work, products, people or his own word for that matter! We have been broken down and stranded with this snowmobile twice already now with myself and my kids. Its unacceptable for anyone to be treated with disrespect and taken advantage of as bad as myself and my family. The snowmobiles were purchased on 11-18-21 and I just spent another $300 today to get it picked back up on a breakdown that has been the exact same problem every time. I have spent well over $2,000 in time money and materials and not even included the aggravation of the lies.

To whom it may concern: First and foremost; ****************** did not disclose to the BBB that he signed an as-is form on his snowmobile that he filed the complaint on as attached. However, in good faith, we did repair the snowmobile the 1st time he brought it in and he paid us nothing for that repair. (attached as well in the 2nd attachment) ****************** failed to disclose that the 2nd and most recent time he brought the snowmobile in for service; that his ***** tried to perform a trailside repair on the snowmobile and damaged the components that he was charged for in his complaint. It is an unfortunate situation, however ****************** has left out these (2) important details in his complaint. Unfortunately, there is nothing more we can do from a monetary standpoint at this time.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear

In response to the message **** wrote, myself, my wife ****** and our 13 year old daughter ***** were all present for the sale contracts for the snowmobiles and arc that we had purchased from Hanksters at the same time 11-18-21. Clearly they had me sign a as is contract with the repeated statements from ***** and **** which they had directly told my family and I that yes we are asked to sign the as is but ASSURED us that they were all serviced and ready for the season, and due to the large amount of money that we had spent with them that if we had ANY PROBLEM OR ISSUE that wasnt a intentional destructing of the machine that we were to NOTIFY THEM ASAP and they would take care of us because they supposedly valued our business . With that being said I had purchased the part which was the issue from a Arctic Cat dealer in *********** ** and I took the part a throttle assembly to Hanksters when I dropped it off the first time. I PAID for that part , they installed it and made adjustments to the throttle cable. Which clearly did not solve or FIX the issue of the snowmobile stalling on us in the middle of nowhere. I decided to take it back and get them to at minimum STAND BEHIND THE FAILED ATTEMPT AT FIXING IT THE FIRST TIME. Which again, ******************* my hand looking me in the eyes and stated that he would be TAKING CARE OF THE WHOLE ISSUE and get it fixed correctly. I still am wondering why that didnt happen the first time??? If I would have been told that I would be paying for the s**** up on their end I would never have left it with them. I had good faith that they were honest, trustworthy, decent family oriented people who would stand behind products that they sold or at the bare MINIMUM STAND BEHIND ***** WORD that they would make it right with me. I have been out time money labor and aggravation and stressed beyond having to drag or figure out how to get the broken down machine from the middle of the ***** 30 miles back to cabin each time. And then the trips back and forth to his dealership when I was instructed to bring it back in , let them take a look and then they would take care of it!!! I waited all day Thursday for **** to call me back as he said he would when we hung up Wednesday evening because he needed to chat with his mechanic before he could answer me when I asked why the first repair didnt work out? I was never given a call back as **** promised on Thursday and when my daughter and I showed up to pick it up Friday and then found out that we were lied to again when given that **** and paying for a job that THEY SCREWED UP, I asked to speak with ****, the counter guy called and told him to come up and talk with me. He couldnt even come look me or my daughter in the face and at least clarify for our sake what happened with Hanksters taking care of it?? He refused to come explain or even see us, which I would be ashamed of myself for that type of disrespectful, manipulative, lying and just flat pathetic excuses that he could not justify. For a business who claims and claimed to treat customers with respect and build a relationship with the customers and operate their business from word of mouth????? I will be letting everyone everywhere at every time I get a chance to never let themselves or anyone else they know even to go through the lies and lies and be disrespected the same way as we were and taken advantage of and they knowingly sold us a snowmobile that was someone elses major problem. So we strongly believe that we are owed money for the **** and the inconvenience for our effort in trying to shop locally Anything that is said by **** or his staff is immediately a lie and not to be trusted at all. I will surely do everything in my power to ensure no more families like ours have to deal with this kind of scum and ignorance
      Regards,

      *************************
