  I bought a comet clutch from the said and it doesn't work for my stomach will be like it says it does I had my local Arctic dealer send it back to ******* and the president many times he says that he will take care of it and he says many times you will take care of it by Friday it's been months months and he still doesn't do anythingI bought a comet clutch from the said and it doesn't work for my stomach will be like it says it does I had my local Arctic dealer send it back to ******* and the president many times he says that he will take care of it and he says many times you will take care of it by Friday it's been months months and he still doesn't do anything He said he was gonna warrant and send me my money back but he never does I keep calling back and he tells me he'll have it done as soon as he can should be next Friday next Friday comes and nothing I tried to buy American product I wanna buy American only and Comment ***** has failed me Oh I sent the clench back i just want my money back He admitted that the clutch wont-work for my sled like they said it wouldn't he didn't know because they just bought the company

  I am writing in response to the claim filed against Certified Parts Corporation by ******************* in *************.  Yesterday we repaired his clutch and sent it back to him.  I have copied the email below that I sent to *** this morning.  I am hopeful he will find it satisfactory.  I have also attached our warranty policy for your reference.  I would like to point out that his defective clutch was not shipped bound up as we test all clutches before shipping to make sure they move free and clear.  Furthermore, the customer bought calibration items from different people/companies and these items were not installed by people who have been trained by Comet.  In addition to repairing his clutch with new parts, I have offered a 2 year warranty and also discounts on any future parts needed.

  I wanted to let you know we discovered the center bearing in the movable face locked up and that is why your clutch stopped working.  There are a number of reasons this could happen but suffice to say this is not a common issue that we encounter.  What we did is remove the bearing from the movable face and install a new one.  We tested it and the clutch faces move in and out freely with the spring and cam arms installed.  This clutch has left our facility and is on the way back to you.  Tracking number 1Z2E0W830345890384.  The package is set to arrive on Monday see tracking link below.

  I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience of this warranty.  I believe the biggest issue was that the request was for a refund but no items were bought directly from us so that made it very tricky/impossible to do.  What I failed to realize at first was that we could just rebuild the clutch and send it back to you as that is what you truly wanted a clutch that worked for your snowmobile.  I do understand that you have not had a great experience with your Comet clutch and again I apologize for that.  In the interest of standing behind our product and making it good to you, I am hereby putting a 2 year warranty on the clutch that is being shipped back to you from 12/12/22.  If you need any other springs or cam arms in the future, please call me directly and I will sell those to you at our distributor discount.
