      I contacted Mr. ******************** in early- mid April about getting hard wired security cameras installed. He and his friend, ***, installed them. I actually had to go in my own attic to help them do so. As they were refusing to go through crawl-space.He did not give me enough training on HOW to use them.Emails and screenshots show me requesting help. I asked 4 help on 4-19-24, and 4-28-24.Each time, he was rude, condescending, and impolite.On the 19th, he didn't respond till 1:00 IN THE MORNING. It was a series of texts. When I told him it was late, he said, "No. We will talk about this NOW." When I contacted him on the 28th for more help, he gradually got more & more rude, and then stopped answering me back altogether. This is AFTER I spent nearly $3000 on his cameras.He also had given me an estimate of $219 on a 6th camera one week,(4-10-24), then tried to overcharge me next week, "for mileage/ extra work hours." When I stuck to his original quote of 219, he got rude in an actual email, saying :"what part of your life don't you create drama & stress in?"I wanted to report him THEN, but didn't, as I knew I'd have to work w him & cameras.I am reporting him and his business for failure to provide customer service, as well as insulting someone like myself who disclosed to him :"I have a disability, & learn differently than others." To which he replied "It must be really difficult to know when another person doesn't get it, huh?" & I said"You just insulted a person with a disability."

      The consumer advised the BBB that there is a hole in their wall from the camera installation.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

      Mr. Downey is lying in his responses to you about what I said, he said, did, etc. I will now clarify. 

      I never said I wanted in room next to kitchen. It was to be located in a back living room area, using my old computer monitor, not my TV. He told me nothing about a plate. 

      I did go through the crawl space, and sat there for at least 2-4 minutes while they talked about something. I said can i come out now? *** had to grab me out of crawl space that i was in, holding wires for cameras.

      He did contact me at 1 am in the morning. He did say we will talk about this NOW. That was deleted on his part when this stuff began. The text message on his part shows the time. It is 2 27 am. When I told him it was late & we could continue this tomorrow,  he got rude. No. no tomorrow.

      Never said not to install last camera. That is a lie. My message proves it. Nor did he ever bring up about honey. As to what I was talking about when he was in my house, that is none of his business.  He is making up many lies and untruth to justify his rudeness, demeaning, and unprofessional behavior. 99% of his response to you is false. Whom he heard me talking to was my mortgage lender, and again, it was none of his business! I had filled in the hole with wall putty because he waited for 2 weeks to fill. & again, was a rude person when I asked when it would be fixed & filled in.

      I was only trained on how to use cameras from Mr. ************************** for 20 minutes. Subsequent phone calls on my end were dealt with rudely. 

      Except for memorial day. That is it!
