Hired this company to investigate a bathroom leak and do some remodeling in a rental at **** ********* *********. After initial investigation, we changed plans from a possible leak from the shower to a leak at the toilet ******. Communication started out great and everything seemed good. The company was out there 2 days and stated they just needed to come back for some finishing touches a final day. Requested I pay all but around $200 for the work they had done thus far which I did. Sent me pictures on a macro scale which appeared to show the completed work. Then they never went back and I got a work order from the tenant that the bathroom was not complete. Some issues: There's broken flooring, separated joints, and areas where the trim doesn't cover the flooring on edges. There is no caulking on the base trim. When pedestal sink was reglued to the wall with construction adhesive, that adhesive was also dripped down the wall surface and visible to the naked eye. The toilet was removed and reinstalled on the new flooring. The old caulk was left on the toilet and the bolt caps for the toilet are missing. The caulking and grout in the shower is failed and molding. This issue does not appear to have been addressed at all despite being in the contract and scope of work. There is mold present on the ceiling of the closet next to the shower. The painters got paint on the trim and tile and missed areas of paint around the sink and light fixtures. Since I got that work order, I have been in contact with the company and at first they gave excuses and pushed out the return date. Recently, I have been ignored completely. I have paid around $3000 dollars thus far and now need to bring in another company to complete/fix the remodel issues at $750-$1500 cost to myself (as estimated by another contractor since). I gave ample chances to return to complete work but now it has been too long and I am having another company complete. At this point I need a refund of some kind.
