I was working at a shop called A to Z Automotive. While working there a franchisee ************************* came by the shop once a week and at first I didn't buy anything from Snap-on because I already had all my own tools. Finally one week a few months later I said what the heck and bought something from him. Well Snap-on gave me a $10,000 credit and I maxed it out. With an agreement I pay $254 a month. Well before I even had my tools a full two months Mr. ***** tells me I'm behind over $700. I was one week late on a payment at the time. So from the jump this guy was trying to rip me off. Well to make a long story short I got my payments all caught up until March 20, 2024 which was 6 months ahead. Then I ended up losing my job at the ending of January because my transmission went out on my truck. Two weeks later I rent a u-haul to go get my things from the shop but Mr. ************************* had already picked up my tools and not only did he take the Snap-on tools but he stole all of my personal tools. This is over a month before I even had a payment due this guy literally stole thousands of dollars worth of tools which takes me 4 months to get back not even a quarter of what he took. I'm honestly in disbelief still and then Snap-on auctions off my Snap-on tools and the tools I bought before I ever worked at that shop. They auctioned all my tools and only gave me $1,200 off my full account leaving me owing them upwards of $9,000. So as far as business goes these guys are thieves and very bad people to do business with. It's now July and nothing has been done about the tools they stole from me.
